Hi All

 

I notice is crack on the main frame of my bike while i was cleaning it today, it is approximately 5cm long, i have attached a few pictures from different angle.

 

Can anyone tell me if this is something serious i should be aware of?

Under each carb there is a small flat screw for draining the fuel. You can access only to two on each side. Use a flat head screw driver (long one to access the inner carb) and turn anticlockwise to release the fuel for a few second. The float may be stuck during the toppling of the bike. Good luck.

When did u last change battery?...battery may be weak due to charging problem...go have your charging voltage check..should be 13.5 to 14.2 vdc at least. If u don't get the reading..likely ur rectifier, rectifier connector or coil koyak liao all both.

Ah pek, I just replaced my rectifier and coil 2 wks ago. Then last wk this incident happen and i tot mayb my batt dying too so i Change my batt last wk(yuasa ytz10s). But e prob like still persists leh

Since the problem started after ur coil and rectifier change...best to go back to the same shop and asked them why..may be a bad job done during coil installation or somethong has been accidentally meddle with. Do u know ifthe magneto coil use is a original one?

Tis I dunno cos I left my bike in e evening and they went to get e coil and do e next day. I only went down to collect after it was done.

Hi, my vtec1 speedometer n digital mileage is faulty however the rpm is working, does anyone know wad is the fault? and wad do i need to do?

Hi pek,I just went back to e mototiam to ask them check my charging voltage. It's 14++, e mech also says it's very healthy. So he did a grounding(dun really understand wat it is) wit a single wire and ask me test and see how first. Didn't charge me anything for it. Haha. Gd service from racewerks

i jus got my bike! i've some queries..

 

1) my mileage meter is stuck.. (speed meter still working) jus the mileage stopped moving.. any idea whats wrong??

2) how much to get a 2nd hand S4 headlight?? mines a ugly alien 1..

3) my tyres is 110/140.. issit better to get 120/150??

4) my suspension is not the stock showa 1..(no brand) too soft, where can i get best deal for it.. (YSS or bitubo)?

5) any place to get 2nd hand end can? mines got a big dent.. haha..

I was currently involved in a hit n run. So the insurance dont cover as the person run away. Do anyone know where to get HONDA SUPER 4 OEM parts dealer? I want to buy directly from the dealer. Really need to save money. Please advice

bro OEM honda part are really ex.just my 2 cent.IF can try to find 2th hand parts or go to scrapyard to find.etc etc.

I am riding Super 4 Vtec 1. I was involved in a hit n run n the police cannot get the culprit. So i have to bear repair myself. Shop quoted me $2000 plus. Here are the things I need

 

1) Front fork

2) Front disk brake

3) Front rim

4) The rpm n speedometer set

5) Headlight

 

Or anyone can provide me shops that sells this things cheap. Thank you very much guys

Hey I got a non original headlight assembly. Used only about 2 months. Looks very similar to the original vtec 3 one but dimensions a bit different but can fit vtec. Interested pm me
