Hey, just wanna enquire. Currently hv a stainless steel header given by a frenz.

Thought of fitting it on my bike with e current stock pipe. Is e header legal, as I am hearing diff reviews.

Can it pass inspection? Some say with aftermarket pipe can... So Pls educate me, Thnks

 

sorry according to wat i kno. changing of header is illegal no such thing as if u using after market end can den legal. further more the header part if u using stock end can its more obvious. last time full system is legal but starting from i dunno when LTA no longer allow tt. if u wanna put on e stainless steel be prepare to get stop by LTA as they making more checks on full system right now..

Yesterday, I parked my bike at an open car park from early afternoon till night time. It was raining around evening time and the rain was quite heavy.

 

After the rain stopped, I started my bike and I heard a weird noise coming out from the left side of my bike. It sounds like there were sands grinding inside. I can't really pinpoint which part but the noise was quite noticeable.

 

I thought it was because the bike hasn't warmed up yet so I twist and hold throttle(to 2RPM) for a few seconds.

 

I then noticed that my bike wasn't charging like it should. My coil was less than a year old.

 

I waited for a while but the bike still wasn't charging then I decided to ride it back home first.

 

After riding for 5 minutes, I stopped at a traffic light and was trying to listen if the noise was still around.

 

Amazingly, the noise was gone and my voltmeter shows that the charging is back to normal!

 

What could have happened? Water went into the alternator ?????

 

I am riding a spec 1.

 

Please advise. Thank yoooooooooooou!

Hi Bro, i removed my engine breather reason being my engine oil started to evaporate according to my mech. and on rainy days water might get into the tubings and eventually dmg the engine.

After weeks of nt riding my bike due to knee injuries obtain from sport , problems arises. Thanks ahpek for rectifying the "muddy coolant" problem. Problem now is about my bike headlight. Recently the headlight have been haywire, sometime will ON sometime wont. To go into detail, after turning on the ignition sometime the headlight refuse to light up but sometime will. Even when it do light up after riding it to next destination and stopping the bike (turning off the ignition) for jus a little while and then starting it back ON again it will nt light up. When it doesnt light up i played ard with the high beam and low beam switch but nth happen BUT when i press the "passing button" the headlight would light up. So guys what could be the problem to it? wiring ? fuse? starter ignition? or others? Forgot to mention, Riding a Spec 2 Vtec.

its ur headlight wiring.. i recently also had e same problem. but went to check with mechnics. its due to a harden piece of short wire at my headlight socket. u need to check ur wiring..

unique at toh guan or ubi. cost u $60 for 1pc and $100 for 2 pcs. some people said the shop beside ah boy has also.. u can go check it out..
