You'd pay to get a mirror fixed when it can be done by anyone, yet you don't want to replace the windshield with an original? Fact can be stranger than fiction.

 

5 Fool-proof Steps to fix your mirror in 5 minutes:

 

1) Remove front cowling

2) Undo nuts securing the swivel base

3) Replace mirror ball joint into the plastic base socket, remember the spring goes in below the plastic spacer

4) Tighten fastening nuts at the swivel base

5) Replace front cowling

 

It's really simple. Nothing technical involved. If you can unscrew a tube of toothpaste, you can DIY this.

 

Maybe someone can post a Pictorial DIY on the ARC Forum like we used to?

 

A cheap windshield replacement would be Glade wrap. Just buy a roll and wrap around the head cowling as many times as the roll would go. $2.50 for a roll. Leftovers can be used to wrap your food for storing in the refrigerator.

 

 

I don't have tools,like seriously..And I also don't know how to DIY..Searched on ARC on mirrors, no results, i hear you're holding a DIY Demo for aprilians...But looks like it's over:giddy: The mirror, is drop off..and the ball thing, the mirror holder tio chip abit, dunno if can place the mirror back. The windshield is yellow until nth to say..So want change.

I have a set of Brembo 4 pots caliper with EBC double H brake pads, steel braided brake line and a custom make mounting bracket to let due to upgraded. It is for RS125 front fork which are not radial mount type. In good condition, brake pad still have 80~90% life span. Interested party can contact me for viewing, no obligation. (97738966)

omg pls help mi....jus now i am stuck at cck...gotta push start my bike...dono y my push start button not working suddenly...it was ok in the early afternoon all the way...but jus nw at 11pm like that went to start bike...then cannot start for a few seconds...no respond at all...then i keep on pressing till it suddenly started...but when i reach cck...then stopped n park my bike...after 5min...i wanna go liao then cannot start at all!!!! how??? no engine sound oso...when press the button total no response....omg...just bought this bike for 8days nia...super good condition lei...how come like that??? pls help...wad should i do? how much to repair?

condition soso to me.. if u very concern abt looks.. then i will say it's bad.. u need to respray.. selling @ $50 cos it's not mould from the original pillion seat, but made of fibre.

hi bro,

 

1) turn on ur ignition switch

2) engage gear 1

3) clutch in and push ur bike until a certain speed u find tat u running wif ur bike

4) throw the clutch and rev abit if needed

5) once the bike start, brake!! and clutch in then engage neutral and u're ready to ride off..

 

 

most prolly your starter relay/starter switch has failed u.. pray hard it's nothing to do with your starter carbon motor.. as replacing that might be costly.

ya i did that jus now...the running start method...but i wish to find out how to check is wad thing giving problems...any tips? muser ask mi to spray WD40 into the switches...and then check the wiring...but check for wad signs? if loose then wad i do? how i connect them? or should i jus bring it to mech? and which mech in sg can be trusted for rs125 ah? got address? pls?

1) First Motor (Ubi area, opp TP HQ)

2) Xtreme Motor (Ubi area, opp TP HQ)

3) Teck Thye (@ a Junction btwn braddel & Upp Serangoon Rd)

 

this problem is minor, most prolly is the starter switch wiring loose as in the connection point.. u try remove the casing and den joint the wire here n there abit(as in shaking it) then.. try.. if can't i guess it's your starter relay that failed u.. thats wat happen to me in the past..
