Dear Team Diversion,

I would like to propose a convoy lead of a couple of Diversion 900 bikes for my wedding on the 26th Feb 2011, Sat. May I know who can I relate to in regards to this proposal. The convoy will be a great turn up of dirtbikers/ scramblres & would like the Diversion 900 to be the honour to lead the whole convoy.

Kindly Advice.

Best Regards,

bro_isk - 96690472 (SBF Scrambler Community/ Slackriders.com/ BikersAid Member)

Now that's an honour! Can I propose Boybulance(his divvy is the best presentation....), agree!!.........

During the BBDC Ride Safe Event A couple of Team Diversion participated in the event & we took pictures w the Military Police with their bikes too. Currently, about 40 dirtbikes/scramblers already registered for my wedding convoy lead by a White FJR. Proposing for other diversions TP model(preferably white, if not black & grey welcome too) behind him & the Wedding car, Bestmen & Bridesmaid car follow after.

This proposal is by chance if Team Diversion members is available & agree. Its just my once in a life time opportunity to make things happen during this special day. Diversion 900, a dream bike for me indeed.

Crossing my fingers. Had PMed Boybulance, awaiting for his reply.

Appreciate it very much.

Ride Safe, Always.

Best Regards,

Thank you for the recognition!!! I'd love to join, but it's subject whether my request for off is granted..

I spoke to Bro Is already, we may plan a meetup wif his marshalls one of these days, maybe team diversion can join also?

First of all, Congratulations on your big day!!!

Like we spoke on the phone earlier, I'd try to ask for Team Diversion's members' assistance, but can't confirm anything yet..

As long as everyone in the convoy rides safely and orderly (no rempits / stunts), we'd love the honour of escorting the convoy....

Team Diversion, Bro Is has assured me that he intends to have an orderly and safe convoy, and he has appointed marshalls to ensure that stunts / 'rempits' is not tolerated within the convoy...

I will meet up with him maybe this or next week at A&A Yishun opp Khatib Camp (one the best 24-hr food places), to introduce his marshals and the route...

Maybe we can also have a Divvy meetup as well for the month of January?

Then can convoy ride to Yishun Dam?

How about it?

Some riders fail to realise that we don't belong in the same Class....

One more thing, his idea of the wedding convoy is something like:

1. Lead Bike - White FJR (with the MARSHALL logo)

2. Team Diversion

3. Wedding Car

4. Rest of Convoy of Scramblers / Dirtbikes (from his SBF Scrambler Community/ Slackriders.com/ BikersAid Members)

So buggers, it's definitely an honour!!! ;)

Team Diversion & Boybulance,

Handing over this honour to Team Diversion.

Thank You For Your Support. The purpose of inviting you guys as G.O.H. for this event is because, I noticed that you guys are very safety cautious & that is my top priority when riding mass convoy on road & offroad. There may be worms in some apples but my marshalls will be monitoring every riders' attitude throughout the ride. No pop wheelie, stunts, donut, endo, unneccessary rev of throttle for attention seeking & etc at all times. Any riders found to do those stunts get his keys confiscated by the marshalls til end of convoy. I had appointed a legend Motocross Rider(40+ yrs old uncle) to become the RSM for the Convoy & he will scream to all riders to ensure safe riding.

As highlighted by Boybulance, the formation will be as follows:

1) Lead G.O.H. : White FJRs (With Marshall Logo)

2) G.O.H. Contingent : Team Diversion

3) Wedding Car

4) Bestmen Car

5) Bridesmaid Car

6) Lead Dirtbikes Contingent : African Twin Rider

7) Convoy of Scramblers/ Dirtbikes (frm SBF Scramblers & Slackriders.com)

8) Convoy Support Vehicle (SUV)

ps. I ever screw one of my idiotic rider on top of my voice before infront of 40 riders & nearly went home for his stubornness.

Me n Rudy will b planning a meetup this Sun, and inviting Bro Is to join us.. It is a golden opportunity for an introduction session with Team Diversion, bro Is n his marshalls...

Bro Rudy n Boybulance, sorry can't make it for the meetup this Sunday. You buggers can count me in to assist bro_isk during his big wedding(congratulations!!). I think we should go all out to assist our fellow biker, you know it's once in a life time for such auspicious situation. Boybulance would look nice in his riding jacket and a BOW_TIE!!! However, bear in mind my divvy is in half-SBO, whereas most of you guys are in FBO(Full Battalion Order). I can take photo/massage for you guys.......but not in the convoy, it will spoil the beautiful scene!!! Cheerio!!!

Yo! Buggers,

My verdict on the Agip 20-50w synthetic oil warm up is a "must" as the oil is on the heavy side of viscosity it need to get the oil to the top head. NOT RECOMMENDED for start and go the engine feel heavy. After warm up it is good for high revving and the engine felt lighter. Let see how far can it can last.

Those buggers' side pannier's, "plastic holders" the small thingy plastic that holds the box and the cover had broken. It can be replace by a wire and a slug which can be bought from hardwear shop not necessary to get the original which is too expensive. ( 4 stainless wires and 8 slugs all in $5 ) good luck.

I just got myself a pelican 1500 box. Yes, you have poisoned me silverghost... Now I've been thinking to mount it on the rear rack BUT wanted it to be a detachable mount so that I can bring along the box if needed to. I can brainstorm some ideas and DIY, but if you guys got any lobbing regarding this "detachable mount", kindly share some with me.

Hi BA,

Nope I did not poison you, the pelican box is simply the best application for our bike and the quality speaks by itself you felt in love with it..... ya!

How much you got it- locally is expensive X2 compares to ebay usa, is it from the ebay or what 1500 case should be around US$107++ excluding postage/shipping.

Hi Uncle,

Long time no hear from you, I thought you permanently migrated to China and married couple of woman from different provinces...

Yes it's true what you say but I have no problem with Motul 20-50w double esther blend synthetic oil. It's just only a try-out of this european oil. As for me it is normal to warm up before any ride.

This is the feedback, I'm passing to those divvy buggers who are interested to use this oil.

Typo error, its 1200 not 1500. Ebay,I bid for $35.95USD and delivery for $32USD. Total $67.95USD = $90.33SGD. The brand speaks for itself. Small and just nice on the rear. The foam can be taken out. Now, no more worries of prata or chicken rice smell in my panniers, furthermore, it's sealed for freshness :)

My heart always in sg.

My advise, change to a thicker oil only if you feel that your current oil fails to deliver it's normal life span.

In another words, you engine has reach it's wear & tear that current oil can't deliver.

I've tried a couple of oil right from as thin as 5W40 to 20W60 during my diversions' days. 5W50 is the oil that delivers to my needs... in turns of engine responds, fuel consumptions, engine heat, oil life span for touring and city usage etc.

For now, I don't know as different style of riding will have different needs.

There is a lots of theory behind the usage of oil that most of us just use what the shop or agent used cos it's too expensive and need experiance to choose the correct oil.

Thinner or thicker has they goods & devils and we'll have to play around them.

If intersted to know more, come to the meetup and I'll explain in details. Old liao... to lazy to type. :cheeky:
