If girls can ride bicycles, girls can ride bikes.

If you haven't got your license yet, go enrol and get a feel of it.

If you've already got your license, just go test ride some bikes when you have the money to pay for it. You'd know what you want when you try it out after you have your license. Whatever you're comfortable with that suits your needs is what you can consider. Don't get a bike that you can't handle, like one that's too heavy, too tall, too expensive, too problematic because ultimately, practicality is the deciding factor.

You never know what you're going to decide on eventually, no point deciding too early. Just my 2 cents worth :)

oh, u riding KR ah ? i heard kr can win sp if race .. lol

i might race with my boy-good-friends .. they have gt kr and sp ..

Wah haven't out bike wanna race liao ah ... Fierce :giddy:

Actually who wins is not just about the bike - condition, tuning, skill etc. play a part as well ...

can i be cool and not cute ? LOL .. im nt the cute type .. haha ..:cheeky:

:dot:

but anyway, this is e main thing ..

kr: lower fuel consumption, lighter but insurance damn ex ..

sp: higher fuel consumption, heavier but insurance more cheaper ..

sigh ~~

Up to u bah ... If u feel the insurance for KR costs a bomb, then get SP lo ... After all, the $ saved can be used (and will have to be used anyway) for maintenance

SP feels heavier but is more stable at the corners. I've seen gals who have difficulty putting their feet down on the road, riding RVF. :)

ok no one brought up the issue of blurness.

I noticed alot of my female friends who are damn blur at even handling a car. Easily panic. Drive damn slow and no confidence on the road. In the end they are a road hazard to other users. If you put the same person on a motorbike, not only will she be a road hazard to others, she will have a higher chance of kicking the bucket herself. I believe u need a certain amount of control and confidence to ride a bike on the roads. There will be no loving boyfriend or father sitting next to you coaching you step by step as you make your first baby steps on the road. And that is a big consideration as it is easy to end up as roadkill anytime.

if u cannot decide, dont - go and try out the bike physically then u will know.

before licence - wanted a vespa for the longest time

during the process of getting 2B - wanted a sportsbike - HATED the school's bike, backside pain

going to get licence - bought a sportsbike

4 days after getting licence - bought a KSR (mini scrambler), then the sportsbike my fren use

then after 2 mths - feel like buying big scrambler

and after 7 mths - starting to like big tourers like the BMW GS

i think that as you go on u might start to like the different types of biking and anyway,

i dont think people keep their 1st bike forever so dont worry about changing bikes, its not impossible just slightly troublesome :thumb:

oh dont worry about being scared!!

the first time the instructor handed me a bike, i fell over with it when he let go cos i was so scared.

failed my 1st lesson 7 times cos i was soooo slow he said there was no way he could pass me.

now i am very glad i didnt give up! loving my KSR sooo much!

i seriously think that gals should get a gali runner or a cb150 . cause its not so heavy and good too.

ta200( good fc) is another good bike but will be too heavy for girls...

noobgirl, I'm also a lady rider and I've ridden Ta200 for 1 year plus. It's a good bike with low seat height which is very suitable for your height. Plus, it has very good FC too!

As for the weight, I really don't think it's that heavy. It's a matter of getting used to it. When I first got the bike, I also felt that it was a tad too heavy for me. But after some time, I gradually got used to the weight of the bike and didn't think that it's that heavy anymore! :thumb:

Looking back, I think I've made the right decision about choosing TA200 back then. Otherwise, I would have struggled a lot more with the weight of the Super 4 during my 2A lessons.

I've moved on to a Super 4 now and slowly getting accustomed to the bike day by day...

sry cant help it....but whatever made u think so?? o.0

r125 is gorgeous..:lovestruck: but imo, not really enough to justify the hefty price tag esp if only riding it for 1-2 yrs (sry, so shoot me)

..save the money can upgrade to 2nd hand r6 >.

baby, u're my love..
