Do not connect the volt gauge directly to your batt. That's what i did the first time i install the gauge. My batt went flat after 1 week never start bike. Connect to your ignition instead, by doing so your gauge will turn on when you on ignition, off when off engine. :p

i juz got it fixed today @ Bike Image.. the one at macpherson rd opp mazda showroom. good service and very solid and nice!!! especially at night.

 

i tink mine is the last set available..

That's right. Idling will be around 13V with headlight off, 12V when on. Needle will increase when you rev your bike. Its the same as when you connect a multimeter to your battery when you want to check the voltage.

this is the colourful digital autoguage voltmeter i got from bike image. the round of colours actually moves up and down as the voltage goes up and down. haha.

yup , love the colourful meter , esp at night , i took the display set 3 weeks ago , wonder if the stock is in ? my frens wanna fix it as well
