Just a bit of scrap on my knee and elbow....my wife a bit of bruise here and there, but we are both okay. Happened at Pitstop.....after MotoGP. Still getting used to the new steering angle, and seems like making the turn from standstill is a tad too tight, cause the moment the steering stop hits, the bike just fall. And er.....I have a pillon, so I could not kick the bike up, so end up have to fall lor.... o_O

Now Only fairing scratches I cannot DIY.....by the way, any good fairing repair shop that uses a tougher material other than the brittle patty??? I wanna do my fairing somewhere else.....not the same shop anymore.

Which shop do u normally go to??

Maybe I can help.

Normally, the shop 2 doors away from Kallang Cycle. Even Minerva send fairings there for repair and spray paint.......so reputation should be good right??? I dunno, just curious if there's any other good repair shop doing tougher composite repairs.

Thanks for your help.

I think the fibreglass fibres and epoxy works as well as it gets, and its down to the skill of the mechanic or in the 748's case, craftsman :D

The steering angle is a bit too tight I find too.

A normal U-turn from my lot to the car park exit now becomes a 3 point

turn.

Had to kick the bike straight up the first few times...

I know of a shop in AMK also doing quite a good job. Maybe u can try them.

I think you guys are talking about steering lock right?

Because of the trellis frame, Ducati bikes always have quite limited steering lock. I had problems doing tight U-turns with my monster too.

Yeah.....I was thinking of my clutch too.....in fact 2 days ago, I've just opt for a new set of Hel, and honestly, I kindda find the clutch feeling a tad "lost". My bad for not adjusting the feel back, as I thought I could get used to the slightly further biting point.... :weep:

But the turn was real tight......at the same time I worry that I might blast my bike into the crowd

Anyways, I really like to thank the 2 riders who came and help me bring my bike up. I guess in future, I'll move my bike out before my wife mount the pillon seat. On my new set of levers, I have spend amber attention to make sure I get the right biting point.

Once again, Thanks!!! It's so embrassing......and this bike makes so much noise :cheeky:

You can say that again... really need to get the bike on it's sides to get it to u-turn. more tricky if you've got a passenger.

its the good old ducati but like i've said, hate the damn limited steering angle. you dun have to ride one to know its limits. If you do get a chance just turn the the handle bars left and right and you'll know wat i mean..

Its a fun , good handling bike till I got the 916 but I'm sure you already knew that..hee hee.

Luv the bike, light, great handling and adequate power. its a fun bike to ride apart from the damn limited steering angle, seems much worse than the 916. However, IMO, the 916 is the Best handling bike I've owned yet! period. :thumb:

saw a monster 900 today at Siglap :lovestruck: red rims and glossy grey body, aluminum billet ventilated clutch cover with carbon fibre exhaust. Sounded like a train :thumb:

Actually, I feel the 2valve motors sound better than the 4 valved ones, even though they are less powerful, and sound less erm, intimidating. :cheeky:

Mellower, bassier than the superbike engines. But thats just my personal preferance :D My monster of choice would be the M1000DS, Ohlins shocks! :thumb:
