My dear cling clang bros....

My bike has been missing the trademark cling clang cling clang.... no thanks to the stock closed clutch cover.... Even at traffic lights i struggle to hear the tamburine, and I was abt to go Toys R Us to get the tamburine as Tigre told Popeye last Fri nite.....

But guess what came in the mail today?

The weapon to unleash the cling clang cling clang.....

Hahahahaha! Just for laughs!

Can't wait to see the pics when you fixed up that cover and long wait for me to hear my cling clang cling clang............

Hi guys, I am back to ducati riding, and hope to join into this elite bunch of riders, had a 916 in 2006 , short affair but the regret of selling lingers on and finally back with multistrada, just check with the experts in the forum , for the air-cooled 992engine of the MS, what is the service interval for the belt change? Do we need only to change it at Minerva or is it possible to de done elsewhere, must it be dome every 10k or 12k ams ,thanks to any kind assistance

Hey folks!

Intending to install a slipper clutch during next servicing and wanna know if there's a more preferred brand among you guys and why.

- STM, EVR or BATA slipper?

- Does STM, EVR or BATA slipper have an effect on the clutch pull?

- Which is able to use the stock clutch plates?

Any advice is greatly appreciated! :thumb: :thumb:

see pics? See the real thing mate! Unless u are gone for deployment again?

Actually I am not sure what to expect inside when the closed cover comes off? The new cover may not go well (aesthetically) with the old stuff inside? May need a new pressure plate n springs? Duno man!

Duke 125...warning given by t28 to be extra careful when asking iamdaman question.....now he pop pepsi n coke.....what next....stay tune...

Duke125 u dun need to worry, she is sharper than us anytime! I only worry about u! Dun anyhow ask abt pple their belt buckle! Later he will ask u want Coke or Pepsi?

Multistrada 1000DS? Same engine as the Supersport 1000DS I just done up last year and sold recently.

U and i are opposites, u went from 916 to a 1000DS while I went from 1000DS to a 916.

Come by on Fri nite kopi and we can have a chat!

The gold cover/crown looks great but u should have bought a pressure plate, new springs and retainers at the same time. Get them in red and blue so u will have a nice multiple color tambourine :) u might see dark, rusty insides when u open the cover... The paulimoto 1 piece retainers are nice, I got them with the springs from eBay. It's not clear but from the photos I posted on the SS previously (link below), u can see the gold retainers over red dp pressure plates.

Guys, Anybody know the 1098s bike history, plate no. FG 1098 D. Example, any frens or previous owner of this bike ? Cos I'm still deciding whether to buy that bike from shop. There are a few question which i wished to consult all the ducati rider.

1) Is the stock brake pump good enough for normal riding(Not in track) ?

2) If there is aftermarket ECU in the bike, the meter will show "Race ECU" when u start the bike ?

3) Did u guys change the bolt for the brembo calipers as in using special size to secure the calipers ?

I'm a newbie to Ducati bikes, hope u guys can impart ur knowledge to me. Thanks a lot.

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.
