For d up-coming track session. I had picked 7th or 14th of Sept, its a wednesday. Timing is to go for d 10.30am session. Guys pls feedback which day your prefer... Will discuss this tonite too..

I would love to go for the track meet. But my free dates are 6th sep (difficult but possible) and 15th-19th (best period for me). I understand how difficult it is to find a date everyone is happy with though. Just thought i'd share my preference

 

P.S 16th and 19th sep are friday and monday

Tonite is simply a street fighter nite! 1st time we had 5 SF with us. Impressive!

 

Really lost count of how many dukes are there tonite? (terrence did u do a head count?)

Anyway next round will be a totally new place. (recommended by Ian)

We might do a convoy ride to tat place if situation allows.

The ONE time I tried riding slowly, I hit a Merc and broke my leg.

 

If you're one of the drivers or riders in the video being overtaken, please accept my apologies. (a friend of mine recognised his car in one of the vids and fcked me for cutting his lane)

 

 

So after I sell off my Monster 400, should I get a Streetfighter or 1098?

Question on clutch, currently using normal clutch plate. 30mm clutch slave.

 

Encounter slip when trying move off at at 1st gear when bike is hot.

When the bike is cold, everything is good.

Rode the bike to work in the morning, no slip when cold. later encounter many traffic stop. Temp reach 100 constantly. Try to move off the bike but keep encounter slip. Only if i really move off at a very slow speed (bicycle speed) then no slip.

 

I know rider will be a problem here but still trying my luck if above situation is normal? Bike cold no slipping is another clue which tell me something is weird.

 

Thought my clutch worn off and try the slow speed with high gear hill climbing but my rpm stay. No slipping.

 

 

Any advise?

the last time mt clutch slip its due to worn out clutch plates. there are like 12 plates , some more wore than others. thus slip only happens for certain gears only.

 

after changing plates , slippages gone , that was on my monster

That is one solid vidz. Loved every km of it....who made this and what is the name of thats soundtrack. Sounded solid on my soundsystem. Can play that on my iphone when I go riding soon :-)

Right, do agree the plate may be worn on certain gear first but i am puzzled why only when hot? Unless when hot the plate lose it gripness for a almost worn clutch plate?

Hi naked1, so you mean when the clutch is hot it maybe warped or overheated. I am riding normal hence burning the clutch myself is rule out, hence it seem the clutch maybe not be able to take the heat from the bike??

 

Warped and overheating is a sign of worn clutch?

 

Sorry for so many questions as I only know wet clutch once is worn and slip, it will slip regardless of temp.

Thank you for the very warm welcome when I arrived at Hans last night uninvited. It was a pure co-incidence. . . . Maybe fate!
