Change engine oil, tell me the problem after that.

try different EO to determine the better one. Ducati recommends shell right? that'll be a good starting point.

hey guys.. i got a few probs here dat i encounter wif my 1098s.. whenever i want to change from 2nd to 3rd gear, my clutch will b stiiff s if its goin to snap & sometimes it just wont change gear or the gear will b at free gear.. can anyone pls help me on dis..? & anyone had any idea how much will it cost if i were to do my front & rear suspension settings according to my weight.. thanks, appreciated much..

 

Not sure it will works, try flushing or bleeding the clutch line.

I did mine and slove my 1 to 2 gear changing.

Kawi rules over my 02 Yammie in all departments. Was a tad hesitant when I first bought it but now, no regrets. If I could afford a Duke, I would have used the money to get the Beemer S1000RR instead... :smile:

Advisable to change EO more often, no longer then 3kkm if on motul 300v. It breaks down quickly.

Rizoma rear brake reservoir - gold

Condition - as good as new. Was bought and installed on 10 sept 2011.

although im enjoying it every second..after 5 days.. im still not use to this bike's riding style... i just keep getting jamming sounds when moving off or slow speed 2nd gear after going over hump..

totally different from a inline 4. need some advice on how to minimize this..

How about installing Anti-hopping clutch kit?

 

Take a look at your clutch pack layout, there is a standard order to align the backing plates. Anti-hopping will always have jamming sound, question is more or less. Standard street use clutches should be able to eliminate. Did that once many years ago on the stock clutch, many trial and error.

Why ride the bike when there are overheating, transmission, noise n enforcement problems. Why ride when all the enforcers are prejudice against the brand and go all out to find fault with you.

It not about a set back. Getting old already n lost the mojo. Only ride the bike for fun and if riding is no longer any fun then why continue to do so. I foresee very little riding can be done in the near future so no point in persisting.

Yes I am. Going to fulfill my dream. Been wanted to ride one of it but like you "Bo lui"

Till now still the same, Haiz.

 

Can only afford the the older series where my pocket allowed. But that is what I dream for too. Think this will be my last sport bike and not going any younger.

 

Old is gold! The old series is a work of Art! Red is still best colour for the old series!

i'm with u on this one.

 

Those who were not there last Fri nite wont know how it feels. Work all week, look forward to ride bike on Fri nite n meet kakis, then on the way kana spoil the fun.

 

All of us felt like sh*t as well, all no mood liao after we heard u kana stopped. Even tho i run stock, I also damn sian. Cos now even our fri nite fun is taken away, what fun is left?

 

O'Come on, we are not robbing bank what??? Y come n circle around us like sharks going round a boat?? :angry:
