Any tips on starting Superbikes when hot? I find I have to trottle alittle for the engine to catch, but it sometimes just cranks very weakly, giving all sorts of wierd sounds (pop, kank, BANG~! )....

Anyway, my bike now does 17.9km/litre, mostly street riding, 1/4 highway riding 90km/h on 5th gear. :thumb:

sounds like she got an attitude manz.. haha..

btw.. she got a better milleague nw... :thumb:

Speed @ 6th gear 3000rpm - 90km/h

Speed @ 5th gear 3500rpm - 90km/h

I never exceed 3000rpm in top gear in Singapore roads, I usually cruise on 5th gear at 90km/h. Engine doesn't feel bogged down when revved slightly more. I think 4k rpms on top gear is 110km/h.

reddevil76 selling, thread as below;

Hi all, I forgot to add one item, there's also the STM clutch slave. So the full list is:

- Zero Gravity Screen

- Carbon fibre tank and key guard

- Carbon fibre exhaust heat shield

- Carbon fibre chain guard cum hugger

- Carbon fibre swingarm protector cover

- Valter Moto Seat Cover

- DP Aluminium Vented Clutch Cover

- STM clutch slave

- Stainless Steel clutch springs with anodised spring caps

- Ohlins steering damper

- Ohlins rear shock

- Arrow Half System (and custom made noise eaters)

The Sportec M1 tyres are new.

Forks recently rebuilt.

Ohlins damper recently rebuilt.

It's also "decorated" with a sticker kit I bought from US.

Mileage at 26K.

Thanks to all the 3-4 guys who PMed me. I'm sorry I've been busy adjusting to my work today after being away for a week.

To make things simple for all, how about this:

I'll ride the 996 to work on this Wed and Thu (my workplace is at 1179 Serangoon Road, Mah Pte Ltd) and those who are interested to view can come down between 9am to 7pm either days.

My handphone is 93686795. Thanks.

Think more or less the same.

I am not using stock sprocket ratios.

Guys, I need some help. How to differentiate between the different 996 models?

Like mine comes Showa Ti-Nitrate coated forks, Ohlins rear, and Marchesini 5 spoke wheels. The tail fairing says Ducati 996S, but my log card say 996 Biposto.

But I surf on the net, Biposto models does not have coating on the forks, have a Showa rear (though my previous owner could have changed the rear) and have the heavier Brembo 3 spoke wheels.
