Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

good idea but second hand bikes tends to have lotsa wear-and-tears and some problems. these wasted money can be saved to use for the Fazer6 downpayment. like tat monthly installment not so shiong la, den no nid work so hard to maintain, can play/eat more. :D

hey buddy..

ive been riding revo for 3years...n have encounter ups n down wif this bike...positive point-its good in pick up...smooth..fuel comsumtion i ever got 400click b4 reserve..mantain speed 90-100kmh...negative point-tps throttle sensor is so sensetive with water..coz it will get yur bike go haywire..even engine shutdown wen yur riding fast...price? ex...not much legal exhaust tat you can buy...so i surgest carb spec 3 is the best! sori revoians ...

Hi guys i have been riding revo for abt 2 years...My bike has never given me any problems other than normal wear and tear...Only once i had a problem where my rpm was below 1...Revo the rpm should always be ard 1.5 to 1.3 after warm up..it should not go lesss than tat...so all i had to do is just service my injector...i personally feel tat is better than spec 3 and as u do not need to do tuning for injectors unlike spec 3

wah 400KM... thats allot of miles for one tank.. cool..

I rode the Spec 3 for 2 years...Its a 5 year old bike...Just love it... its a all-rounder. Even travel alone with it, all the way to taiping. Only stop for fuel. speed is about 130 to 140 constant... In my honest opinion, no matter how fast you can clear the malaysian highway with a high performance bike...i think the cb400 will do a better job or once your cross over to the thai border...because of the un-predictable roads..

Heard many good reviews on both model though. But personally, revo still tops.

Hi, I would like to ask,

servicing on Spec 3's carb vs servicing on Revo's EFI, which one is more expensive? I know for a carb it's rather mechanical and most mechanics will be able to dismantle/wash/fix/tune etc , while for EFI I do not have much understanding and I assume you may need certain specific tools to do the maintenance.

I read from the forum's posts that EFI is considered to be more hassle-free than carb as it adjusts the fuel needed accordingly and thus more fuel efficient. I know fuel efficiency depends on various factors and forumers had posted their FC on their Spec3 and Revo and results differ, furthermore my mechanic swears Revo to have high FC. So in the long run, will the maintenance and FC of one model differ from another if we assume other factors to be similar? Thank you.

I just started using revo. Have a problem but dont know what is it.

For the 1st 20km, its totally fine. Once it starts to get quite a journey, my rpm stays at 7 even if i increase throttle. Thn itll start jerking once awhile, as tho something is preventing/choking the fuel. Please help!

Depends on prev owner la. Besides 2nd hand S4s not as bad as 2nd hand 2 strokers. They aren't that old.

Im riding a FBA Spec 3 carb too, totally satisfied. No complaints.

Alot of nice exhaust system to "play" too :D

And i heard that Fuel injection system if the thing goes faulty the repair/replace will cost a bomb??

Fuel Injection offer better fuel efficiency & emission control. Frankly speaking hardly heard riders experience break down on Fuel injection system.

Injector might cost up to 100++ per piece? If ECU break down that would certainly cost a bomb.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine
