Ya, agree. Fz16 would defintely fit the bill as it is a naked, street and darn comfy for commuting. Not to mention it looks a little like suzuki 7500.

And the rest is depend on what kinda 'fun' XD

Saw someone came and collect the fz16, sat 2 full grown man. Looks pretty ok.

This tank bag, whats the good point? Cause can use helmet bag or the sling right?

Tank bag is to put things that is strap on the tank lor.. It's for my convenience..

I recommend to get those kind that can clip on to your tank bra, and not get the ones that directly sticks to your tank using magnet. Reason being, on the long run, as you take it off, put it on, take it off, there will be scratches on your tank..

Its the kinda leather looking thing that 'hugs' the whole tank..

 

The stick-on thing near your crotch is called the tank-protector or tank-pad..Main function is to provide protection to the tank from your belt/jean button as it will keep hitting against the tank as you ride or get on/get off the bike..

hello guys! been eyeing the r1*25 and r15. but 125 too ex alr. so decided on 15. anyway tp soon. expectin it to be on the july. pass le straight buyred r15 haha. anyone know which shop has the lowest price in general? thanks for any info!

Bro,based on your requirements,I think a brand new FZ16 suits you better than R15. FZ16 is also great sporty looking,great fuel consumption esp for commuting,bigger rear tire and debut with R15.

 

However if u still insist on R15,then its of cos a great choice! Stock R15 is decent bike with good fuel consumption,fast and able to upgrade its performance. The reason I choose R15 over FZ16 was due to its rear breaking set. While R15 is supplied with disc brake,FZ16 is mate with an older generation drum brake.

 

R15 maintenance is mainly: 4T oil,Spark plug,Engine oil filter.

Hey, i got mine from MotorWorld. I paid 80 bucks. Bagster magnetic bag. Can put 1 full face helmet. Comes with cover also, so no need worry about rainy days .

Yes, i feel so. need to slowly take it off. does the tank bra looks nice on r15? didnt saw any before.. i saw a fz16 with tank bra at aunty shop.. look ok ok only.. next time i should get a street bike can put boxes, bra and etc.. no need worry about the look heheh

For me I usually would plump slightly lower than what's stated.front 190,26psi rear 210,31psi around there.

 

I think i should follow this also now follow the instruction on manual, i feel the bike not so stable hehe. i think i should get rid of the stock tyres soon.

I put in simple theory : R15 is sports utility bike. Meant to go fast and fuel will be drain. Under normal riding of speed 80-100kmph,its fuel consumption is good. FZ16 is a commuting road bike,even if u ride it fast,its still drain fuel but not as much as the R15. Difference in fuel intake is a bit only between these two bikes.

oh i see! okay. alr check around with a few shop. like AS phoon, excel. heard my fren say bike production 7.2k only. exclusive IU and insurance. excel stat 6.5k but is base on 1k coe. so lets say add 1k more in because coe 2k. den is 7.5k. asphoon and hl both quote me 8.3. so, is there any explanation why the price so much difference? o.o insurance for my age should be 1.2k to .4k. 3rd party. ntuc.

The avg price is 8.3k.that includes everything.and a iu unit plus installation should be around $180.when you add those in all the shop about the same.and someone just got from excel I don't think the price is 7.6k.better double check to see if got any hidden cost.
