Tank I sprayed and put a piece of white color sticker from 219. Cost of stickers less than $35. Spray $3.50

There are many colors Green,Purple,Blue,White,Yellow,Red and I choose White cos I always wanted to have something that lits the day and not too much of batt consumption. Btw,the HID projector lights which I installed are meant for bikes thus no issues on battery drain.

2. What are the common problems you encounted with your bike and how to solve them?

 

3. During run-in period, what is the top speed i can go to? (GF lives dammed far away, needs go via highway.. And i dont wan to get tailgated... Scary...)

 

4. How to increase the performance of the bike?

FUel depend on how many km u run and how ur riding style! full tank is around $20 for me. if i go JB pump will be 33RM. wear and tear depend on ur bike condition new one or 2nd hand!

BAttery drain. change a new one if not charge it at bike shop.

chain too dry due to use of wrong chain lub. get the rite one and u r fine.

RPM not more then 5.5 for first 500 then 500 to 1K don go beloew 7.7RPM as stated in the manaual!

 

4. How to increase the performance of the bike?

 

CHange air filter and change pipe. change tire, change balancer. for me this 4 is gd! other ppl might have a different view!

Fuel is subjective. If u always rides on your bike,it can goes above $100 per month. Servicing includes: Change engine oil,oil filter and air filter

= Abt less than $30 for a great package consisting of Full synthetic,Yamaha oil filter and cleaning of air filter. At times,it may goes higher depending of the items which needs servicing as manual stated.

 

2. What are the common problems you encounted with your bike and how to solve them?

Battery. Since 4 strokes are heavily dependent on battery, do install a voltmeter which allows u to monitor your battery consumption.

You do not need to run in. Your engine was already optimized and run in during factory phase. What you should do is to get used to your new bike and gradually increase confidence. You may also go faster and feel the power of R15 however remember safety and road consciousness.

 

4. How to increase the performance of the bike?

For a start up,u may want to change the exhaust to have that feel good sound factor. Other modifications can be considered once u start to acknowledge your desire and budget. Any after market products will improve your bike handling and performance..however,once again,always adhere to law and order.

My advice is to get used to your bike. Learn the basic to remedy common faults and always learn from the pros in here.

i think i got this issue sia, i keep spray chain but the chain dried the 2nd or 3rd day i use cos can hear the chain sound...

which chain lub to use is the rite one??

Most chain lubs are good to use on our chains. Some have stick on properties and does not easily goes off even during rain and some will not stick to your chain,thus losing their lubricating propose easily but not entirely. Get those like Maxima,Bel Ray and Repsol chain spray as they stick to your chain.
