Passing the first time didnt mean much la edwin. Dont depress :)

Although i dontbelieve in too much rc and such, but i guess the general system is to practice more. yay.. note your throttle and the points where you need to check blind spot.

The secret to not wobble is to throttle more, else play your handle more to balance. When you turn, make sure you're darn confident and dont throttle on and off.

- moving off slope, throttle high and move fast. Close throttle once your front tyre cross the slope.

- after check back, move right (no need blind spot) BUT! Move steady and check right blin spot after you've stable. There sure wobble.

-figure 8: throttle hard after check back. No need blind spot. Gear 2 before going in. Off signal! (on signal after halfway mark) check left blind spot, exit.

- off signal after exit.

- on left signal after one junction, check left blind spot. Its ok to not position straight. Dont force! If not sure wobble!

- throttle hard, gear 2. Once enter signal right!

- look left then check right before exit. (Must look dar far for cars reversing)

- stop line. (nothing to say. The usual)

- traffic light check back right! Signal right! Stay on left until junction crossed then faster end right lane

- check back inwards

- check right blind spot b4 entering e. Brake

- stop line? ( you know whatto do)

- off signal! (Alot of ppl die here) check left blind spot! B4 plank

- check back right. (Handsign)

- check back right. (Blinker)

-check blind right b4 exiting saloon.

- check left b4 exiting to main road.

- check right traffic, then LOOK LEFT, then check back inwards! NO NEED BLIND SPOT! Cause you will be looking left.

Open road no need to say much right?

Act confident! Know your route and plans well!

Good luck! :)

Thanks for the advice Foxin... However, i was stunned becos everytime during practice, We only go out at night... However, TP is the first time ever i rode outside in daytime lorz... So not used to it... And i am also not confident with the 6 hide-and-seek TP old mens... :( Throttle more and i wont get points for Over-Revving throttle? On side note, I shag half becos my bike needs to stay at bike shop for 1 months plus plus more le... Hope the will take care of it... :(

i think its quite ok to fail 1st few times, at least u know whats the mistakes you made given by the tp and subsequent attempt is much easier, i passed mine after 3rd attempt

Any tips...? Cos i really need my license... And i wonder if the quota thingy they are talking about is true.... :(

Posted

Nah.. dont worry about the quote thing. When your throttle more, you need to clatch of cause la! IF throttle noclatch sure over rev what. Lol! Think you need to chill man.

Ssdc tp is considered the most best scenerio already. Morning no car practice.. somemore industrial estate no vehicle.. somemore heavy vehicle all park on left lane after you turn right. Ask you.. how not to pass? Only circuit lo! You down your deposit for the bike or downpayment?

the tips is like what the others say, throttle more go faster or you will just get more points for wobbling or insufficient acceleration, those tp will know tat u will be taking 2nd time or something and it will be easier to pass

I guess maybe u may nid to turn back slower after checking ur blindspot, or check ur blindspot 1 or 2 sec longer. Anyway i believe ssdc is already very easy le, i pass from ssdc 1 time with only 2demerit pt.

Mine very stable. Wet weather once E.brake the tyre lock a little only on the back.

Riding in the morning is darn easier than night. (Just that the road outside SSDC a little glaring, cause not much tall buildings around)

I bet your problem with checking blind spot is too fast and too abrupt.

When you check blind spot, you look more horizontally or look downwards?

I look over my shoulders... But very quick... cos i scared the bike wobble... and the place also very tight... :(

Well..., i guess tp is rite to fail u den, it is gd to fail ur tp than having accident on road, cos on the road there will be many situations tat will danger u if u are nt stable or confident enuff, i think watever u learn from the plank is really gd. there will be alots of lane splitting and checking of blind spot otr.

I guess u r nt showing confident enuff, tats why the tp failed u. u have be slowly and steady.

Hmm.. for blind spot during tp, confirm cannot do quickly de. i also like u kena pts for blind spot but even though i noe i checked but was during pract test, from there i learned tat i have to check and lock slower like 1sec, so tat the tp can see.

Anyway regrading wobbling, i believe most ppl have problem only during moving off, where the power is nt enuff.

Or maybe u are too stiff on the handle bar. nv nv lock ur elbow, rem to keep it like around 45 deg, relax, look far should be fine.

Some videos to share as well, hope it helps u! :)

I am using MRF tires as well, on 9k already. If on dry, means u r braking too fast, depress bit by bit, or use more of front brake. During wet is bo pian... i will just slow down even more b4 turning.

I am fine with the tires, i use all 3 brakes, front brake, rear brake and engine brake.
