What's the insurance like for a 22 yo rider? And yum road tax? A lot of friends tell me not worth to get brand new. Pay so much for a 2b bike not worth. What's your say guys?

errr.. generel it have to consider your bike's age, and also your NCD.

So lets say in general sportsbike (assuming you have no bike yet) and you're still P=plate.

That will amount some... 1.2K for NTUC? Roadtax are 32 for hald and 64 for full for any bike below 200cc.

 

Regarding the saying of your friends. I can understand what they are coming from.

But you need to dig into your fund reserve and stop thinking about owning a bike first and ask yourself, "can I make do with this xxxx installment and xxx maintenance?"

Cause when you reach 2A stage, you will realized your initial "i will stick to this bike only." will wear off very fast :)

and..

honestly for 2B bike, it is getting very nice and also more expensive. Can outweight a 2002 - 2004 S4 you know?

There must be mud guard on your bike. If dont have then your inspection will fail. (cause mine I sawn it off XD)

White light I heard by far is not approved. Since yours is a light bulb only, just change it back to stock

guys h4 bulb with what watt is suitable for our bike....i previously bought one pair at jb that is 35/35 but both blow off one after another !! maybe its a f**ked up quality bulb.

Anyone fix box rack over at southern motor?? or bukit merah..

I saw this guy on the road back too woodlands and asked him where he got his box mounted he says bukit merah but the only shop that does the mounting is southern motor... Anyone have any idea??

Its not the convention type of rack.

Its those that actually remove the bat thingy and then mount on the bat thingy supposed position and support the box.

While asking the shops in that area some of the mech actually told me that its bad for the structure of the frame.

hi guys waiting for my tp this 23 august and im considering getting r15 v1 2nd hand for my first bike.

i called asphoon and they quoted me the bike 2nd hand is around 4.8k and the insurance will be around 1.3k for a 19year old who just passed.

 

here are the pointers that i really like to be answered.

 

im a singaporean living in malaysia , it's around 16km from my house to custom and for example i'll be working around pasir ris area..this bike gonna be moving for a long distance alot everyday..

 

-is the bike easy to control in the heavy custom jam ?

 

-how's the fc ? can the basic maintenance be done in malaysia easily?

 

-how's the riding with a pillon ?

 

-what's the top speed of the bike with stock pipe and after market legal pipe?

 

-what kind of legal mod can be done to the bike ?

2) fc is on average 40km/l

3) easy maintance...similar to fz150

4) similiar effect riding with pillion

5) 4stroke bike bro...dun look for top speed

people have mod the bike to surpass 130km. i believe its possible to go faster...

 

Other than that, fellow riders. where can i duplicate bike keys? anywhere in singapore please, preferably east side, sengkang or yishun...

I'm selling mine away at the same pricing too. Are you interested? My mileage is below 9,000 and it is a two year old stock bike with fuel charger in the tank only.

I went up to 147 before. Air filter change, other then that all stock. Is possible to reach 150 oso. need road onli.
