Hi Bros, i heard a few cases of R1 07-08 piston jammed.... Is it true that the batch of of R1 07-08 got such problem???

98 also got prob one leh , best get wave , minor prob nia and repair cheap , if worst no $ can use cooking oil .

Just nw went to this particular bike shop at bt merah, the mech there told me to get my clutch plate done as when i clutch in that time, noise can be heard. What actually causes that noise and how to prevent it?? The repair how much rougly?? Becoz i was quoted with clutch plate 7.5/pcs x9, clutch dics 12/pcs x9... Is this the standard pricing??

Hello fellow R1 riders, is there anyway to expand or lengthten ur Seat? hav difficulty sharin seat wif my gf due to the space constraint. Btw I am riding 06 R1 . Any solutions and methods will be deeply appreciated =)

well my suggestion is that u can try to even the extra cushion to be in line with the pillion tailboard as the seat cowl or pillion seat has some cushion prutruding out ... if u can understand what i mean

 

see the pic that i had edited and the part that i had circle in red, try to make it in line with the tailboard so that gives u bigger space to share seat

better buy at local agent than bring it to them to fix it cheaper

ebay the answer..last time i bought it arnd 150 i think. haaha u wan to go for inspection?? very loud even thunderline cant fight
