[Group] Super Four Non-VTEC Family: PB1 VerR & VerS

I posted a thread in another section about this, but seems like no replies..

 

So anyway, who has done engine flush before? Any comments on price, brand,etc? Since our bikes are quite ancient, I think it would be good to flush the engine.

 

As far as I know, only one shop in amk has this flush, at $7/bottle. But i didnt get to see the product itself as the uncle said he didnt have any stock left. I also went to wingyap, but they didnt know what i was talking about.

sorrie man i am new here just got my ver S, my rpm at 7 when travelling at 100km/h is it nomal.. i also did a speed check with 2 of my riding friends my speed is 10km/h slower than them meaning when i travel at 90km/h my friends speedo meter is at 100km/h. wish to know if its like dat

 

normally, it shud be 6k rpm at 100kmph.. however, it varies due to sprocket size and carb tuning.. might wanna check with the mech..

 

as of my knowledge, our speed and 2b is about 10-20kmph difference.. i tested with both gsx400 and my vS.. when riding at 80kmph.. the 2b is riding at 100kmph.. tested with sp and rxz.. dunnoe how true or valid is it.. just a rough gauge for you info..

super 4 version S got valve? isome tell me ver s got no valve not like vtec got first 8 normal valve then 8 vtec valve.

There are 16 valves on every S4 model since PB1, the only diff is got vtec or not.

thx thx.. u know when to service the valve? i feel that my bike pick up very slow. the engine like high rev already but my speed still slow. maybe is clutch plate? or something with my valve?

yup.. to add on to that..the difference between vS and vtec is that vtec valves are electronically controlled..ours not.. as the name suggests.. Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control (VTEC)..

 

it seems pretty odd that even a 2B bike has valves and our 2A bikes doesnt.. kekeke..

can lah bro.. there are a number of students that schools and works PT..2A bikes are manageable but class 2..errmm..i'd say risky.. nonetheless i've seen several class2 bikes in my school.. i seriously dunnoe where they get the $$ for insurance, installments and road tax.. not to speak of potential breakdowns..

our speedo using T5 and tacho using T10... can try buying from M400 in his MO and fix it ur yourself.. or.. u can go shop fix for you..

hey all, does your bike have any sound coming out from the speedo or rpm cover, when riding. Any ideas where to get it done.
