R-77 for me but its illegal. If Akra only full system then sound nice. But again, its illegal.

Basically for Gen 2, as long as its full system, its illegal.

Thanks bro for your time this afternoon. It was definitely a fruitful trip. Seems like now I'll be real busy with my bike from here on.

As suggested this afternoon, perhaps the next trip will be to Kampong Air Papan. Go for some trunk road twisties!

Good night!

Buy based on

1. Purpose (Track, Tour / for show)

2. Do you commute everyday on your bike? If ans is no, then go for full system (illegal). If ans is yes, then go for street legal (you'll be in compliance with the law).

3. Budget : have more dough, buy the best. Have some dough, buy mid range / 2nd hand. Have few dough, stock pipes good enuff.

4. Best advice which you'll see in this forum time & time again - STOCK IS BEST

Cheers bro!

Bro, I did contemplate on replacing my Gen 1 suspensions with ohlins (high $3k) but as u mentioned, I guess it's really an overkill hence I dropped the idea for now & went for the option of a spring upgrade.

In terms of technicalities, I'm really not the person who can give that advice but here's my observation with & w/o pillion. My new springs are presently 2 weeks old and they cost me $460 + $40 each for the fork seal, all inclusive of labor.

After the spring change, the mech actually tuned the damping to suit my weight. I told them that my pillion was abt 50kg so I got them to tune my rear shocks to cater to my pillion's weight. At 1st, I didn't feel much difference but when I encountered the slight humps n bumps on the road, I went pass it feeling great as I didn't feel much as opposed to my stock springs. Then came the day I pillioned my wife, I remember I was traveling about 90-100km/h when I encountered unlevel roads on CTE towards AMK, my oh my.. I felt as thou I was traveling on a level road, on stock springs, I would have felt the bouncing feeling hence it felt absolutely great with the springs upgraded..

Haven't had the chance to do cornerings or take long straights with my new springs but I'll update u again after more observation.

So far, I'm 120kg, 185cm tall. Springs upgraded to Hyperpro. IMO, one of the best upgrades so far.

Sorry I can't provide u with the technicalities, only personal observation from riding with the new springs.

Thank you for your feedback.

Actually the spring is more for getting the correct unsprung length/height. Damping play the bigger part in making the ride RIGHT. Which is why I'm thinking of adding the Racetech gold valve. But if it works like the stock which I assumed 60% will, it no point then. However spring and oil change is a must, at least.

Using similar earphones. But i prefer, ear plugs will bring both perhaps.

Yeah carry both is the best. But I hate stopping by the road side to remove the earphone. I rather tahan until the next petrol station.

If you looking for performance, honestly not alot of people can answer you. If we compared the dyno baserun result from each manufacturers' website, Akra seems to be the best. If after local tuning, result might vary from climate, dyno machine, tuners etc.

If you looking for sound, I am not really sure. Hence I will just advise you go for something which appeal to you the most.

Try to go for something legal. By the way R-77 is illegal. Recently there have been an increased in LTA activities. If you feel like donating $500 to our government, by all means, go for the illegal route. It a risk you have to take.

I saw Yoshi released a few more legal models for our bike, provided you are riding Gen 2, worth checking out.

Ride safe!

Recommended for what purpose?I strongly urge and advice you to think through carefully and decide on what's your budget and what do you want out from the aftermarket exhaust of your choice.

No offense here, you are wasting everyone's time and effort by being indecisive base on what you posted previously.
