Hmm.. anyone taking DRT tmr and thurs night? Any idea what to bring? Or is it just turn up and listen to theory only?

 

ME! tmr (29th sept two lessons DRT 1 and 2) and 30th september (DRT 3 ) i don't think you need to bring anything, i think just bring yourself, and your training record book will be enough! see you there!

It all depends on ur skill... Ive only did 1 prac once which is prac 7...the rest i did 2wice..

hi guys, i just started on 2B currently at prac 3. will the instructor pass you on the first attempt for new prac? both prac 1 and 2 took me 2 tries

 

Practical 3 is slope and fig 8. Slope is quite straightforward, just the steps in signalling and checking that you have to memorize through practice.

 

Fig 8 is the bane of many riders, I took this prac 3 times mostly due to fig. 8 and the instructor give chance to pass me so I can learn other things first. Fig. 8 is more riding skills, so you can meet their timing requirement.

I finally decided to get a helmet after using the school helmet for so long. The smell aside, recently got a number of ang mohs who suddenly want to learn bike too. This means, during the scramble for helmets, the XL helmets are gone.

 

That happened to me in my last CR resulting in me using a L helmet which kinda squeezy but luckily no headache.

 

My helmet is from Helmetboys.com. Very nice fellow who delivered to my block and went through the steps in guiding me on trying on helmet, how to remove and wash the inserts, how to wax and overall care for helmet.

 

So far my mum still have not seen the helmet nor know that I am learning bike. So fingers crossed :)

Kudos! i bought my helmet and my gloves from helmetboys too, very nice friendly guy, hassle free transaction, and very reasonably priced .

Got mine from Nic as well. delivered to cdc for me. haha. likewise my parents haven't found out about my helmet either.

 

anyone what's the rough waiting time for DRT lessons? want to estimate when can finish everything..

for me i passed my rtt on the 25th of august, booked DRT applied for pdl and went for practical lessons 6,7 & 8 , so i think its roughly one month after you finish RTT, as in my case i waited for slightly over a month. and good luck in your endeavors!

Hi bro/sis,

 

back after 3weeks of ICT. :) fri outpro finish going back for pract4. RTT on 23oct for me! :) hopefully by then i'll pass my pract 5 alr, sch getting siong soon also hopefully can get my 2b before the yr ends.

plus, for obvious hygiene purposes, pls get your own helmet! haha

i got my own helmet first for hygiene, even though i know that my parents won't let me buy a bike.

second, i no need to borrow people's helmet if i wanna pillion. i may never know whose head got fleas! hehe ...

ya quite near mrt. but i take the shuttle bus from DHL only. go and come back also shuttle bus. if OT can claim taxi. so wont touch mrt.
