Ok, I'm lost. What's a sub-frame? Are you referring to the main chassis itself? Went to have another look again earlier, both wheel rims not dented or look warped. Forks, can't really tell.

 

The engine block had a thin layer of oil around it, kinda like my old S4 when her head gasket was leaking.

Fork seal is out.

The shocks felt soft. Are those real Ohlins or a piece of sticker on a stock shock?

 

The canister should be in gold yellowish colour if that's Ohlin. I suggest try get a aftermarket shock, coz the OEM one will still feel the same even u try to rebuild it back.

Alamak, in the end, become bling2 sia the bike. Haha. I'll just concentrate on the major ones first I guess. Rebuilding the engine takes priority over the rest. Ohlins are transferable, yes?

Erm.. I still confuse now. Ya i need a stock exhaust as my stock is damage. my Arrow now is like 'Scrap Metal'. But i got a friend who wan to take over mine, but he wants every things replace as before etc, my brembo master pump, racing fairing, CF Mudguard and hugger. I planning to buy Arrow full system for him as that wat he request, if the price is not good, then i consider Redrose Akra.... Muacks... :lovestruck:

 

Ya, is already more than 60 days... My director asking when i going back.. haiz.

Bros... need some info/reviews from you guys regarding K5 1000 comparing to other of its version. Sorry cos im not well versed with Suzuki sports bikes. Is there any problem with a particular model or whatsoever? Thanks in advance..!!

 

what kind of problem? It was the best ever litre bike suzuki has ever produced IMHO..I have personally known 3 individuals, who sold their K5/K6... and regretted it...

I have a spare flip up lever for brembo and new hugger if you need. Race fairing spare for your bikey also might have, need to ask my friend first..

Oh, for my case i can claim. My race fairing there's only slight damage. Hugger no damage. only thing is the lever。 Does the lever of urs can fix on RCS? Selling @?

FYI, 09 R1 machine price is ard $26k and not OTR $26k, so OTR will be ard $30K (after GST, coe, insurance, reg) Esp when bike importers have order this new model way b4 2009, its unlikely they will reduce prices IF YEN drops.

New CBR1000RR 09 is already selling machine $25k....

 

Will u pay $30K for a R1'09 when a brand new car cost $33k?

All aftermkt air filter the same, its the branding...

 

wow.. serious?? 09 machine price is 26k ah.. but is it already a confirm price or juz a rough guide?? like tat really is ex by around 4 - 5k... sian.. need to think twice again..

i found some cheap ones for u on ebay already, but the sellers all told me too big to ship to sg. I dunno what that means anyway, probably expensive i guess. anyway, upss for akra...but mine solded :angel:

Maybe you can get a cheap used full suit in the forum then tag along those "old birds" in the forum to P.G as they can guide you around on the track.
