hi fellow forumers, may i know other than PML and looi's motor, where can we go to buy 2nd hand BMW bikes? Seems like normal workshop doesn't sell such 2nd hand bikes. my fren and I are interested in getting a F650GS year of registration from 2005 to 2011.

Got my schuberth today!! Heart pain pocket big big hole. Helmet looks very normal. But it's rather quiet to be honest. Hopefully I will like it.

Guys wat's ur view abt the servicing at PML...? Wat is the recommended mileage to change engine oil...? they say if possible to change at 5000K. if not 10000k. ask the price for service & WOW....!!! It's a Killer....!!! any other workshop that can we go for 10000K or 20000K service...? Thanks...

Got a C3 flip up. Price $800. Quiet helmet, did 140 didn't hear loud wind sound or whistle.. Good helmet shld b good buy.

Can try amk autopoint, Stamford motor lvl 5. Think pml not doing a good job, my friend got a rt n it's service by pml quite regularly as indicated in the manual. But when check by Stamford, it show otherwise,

His bike wasn't service at all, the oil was sticky n all. But the bike log was signed by pml n the latest service was a few months ago. My experience with pml was also a lousy 1. Last year send my bike there for a check on some prob cos just got it secondhand.. They claim to have diagnose my bike with their com and find that there are some fault so advice me to change the part.

 

After changing prob still persist so went back and they apologize and say they didn't do and diagnostic and will do it that day. Later find that there is no fault at all. Explanation by them is that their mech diagnose based on his experience so nvr did any test.

Time wasted waiting for their fake diagnose And time wasted again the second time. FYI the diagnostic needs 1 hr as claim.

So far I have a good experience with PML. Found that they are pretty trustworthy and the service turnaround time is quite fast. Sometimes for simple servicing, it was done FOC. (BTW I've no affiliation with PML)

I got several recommendation from 1 BMW rider I met at my regular workshop.

- Perfection (I heard this is the only place with a Bike Diagnostic Computer)

- M Tech

- Combine Motor

 

DIY guys, anyone wanna share the GS911? http://www.gs911usa.com . This device is potable Diagnostic Tool for BMW Motorcycles. :cheeky:

 

With 10 person sharing, each fellow maybe pay $50-100. ROI 1 or 2 times usage (Several conflicting sources, states computer diagnostic cost range from $40 to $140). can consider?
