if bike like Can-Am which doesn't even lean like other bikes can be considered a bike,

and is more car-like then the Quadro4, which leans like other bikes, then Quadro4 should be considered a bike.

In other countries, it is considered a bike..... but here, LTA says bike is deemed to be having no more than three wheels and two axles.... leaning or not does not come into the picture....

All these problems about having how many wheels as being car or scooter can be solved IF the people managing these standards in LTA were to 1st: Wake up, 2nd: Review other countries standards for new types of vehicles classification and compare, 3rd: Revamp or update the current standard system in Singapore with the leaders acknowledging and approving.

 

Sure it may not be as easy as the stated 1, 2, 3 steps and it is going to take time for the system to be updated, but like the saying goes: if there is a will, there is a way.

 

People should sometimes stop cornering others or themselves, resigning or dictating the current destiny or fate as the final verdict and we can soon amazing improvements in life and technologies.
