IMO , if mostly riding on SG roads , a 600 is enuff . Got a 1000 one n nvr had much opportunity to exploit its power .

I think i still prefer the "baby G" instrument look of the 04/05 version. Haiz....the resale value of my fazer really drop like hell..... I guess I'll keep it for 5 years or more.

Seems like alot of good feedback on Fazer600... it's really a bike worth buying then...

FZ1N look damn chio...but without fairing and windshield, I think it will pretty tiring to go long distance... hard choice....

actually i think high depreciation is normal for class 2 bikes... this is esp so when all the major manufacturers are churning out new design for sports bikes in 2 yrs interval now..naked bike like fazer n hornet only got a change after 3 to 4 yrs. still not too bad...

so the 07 FZ6S is a 1 year old design? since it's rather similiar to the 06 model? or it's even older than that? :confused:

no flame intended, but isn't it consider rather slow for yamaha? since bikes like CB400 has digital fuel gauge since before year 2000 if i'm not wrong? but good that fazer's bike design is rather modern looking compared to the honda CB series i feel. :cheeky:

if u look at both the 06 n 07 bike, the changes are:

 

1) new aluminum swingarm, better looks.

2) new front fairing with lower screen.

3) new n stronger brakes

4) changes in seat for more comfort

5) new meter like fz1

6) changes to tuning of the engine to improve the lower range

 

These are the changes i see on the new07 fz6 so far, no forgetting ABS is available upon request.

 

actually the 06 one not much of a diff, but rem the 06's design has been ard since 03 actually. i expected yamaha to make mre changes to it but they din. anyway have to wait till the first 07 to hit our shores before we know more about it.

hornet got a full revamp this year, but sort of looks like kawa ER6.. but it's with a CBR600RR engine. maybe u can wait till both bikes to reach SG before deciding..

think only the black 06 fz6 still comes with the silver frame..

Actually wanted to get the red 06FZ6 , but when saw the red 06FZ1 n compared the price , got the FZ1 instead .

What i hate about FZ6 is that it doesn't have the looks as compared to other brands... but FZ1 does look good... it's due to my constraints of girlfriend pressuring me to keep my budget low... if not i will get a FZ1... however gsr600 and hornet600 looks damn cool too... but i would feel better at least something to block out the wind...

i din like the red n blue ones... if u notice, the front fork is silver, completely mismatch with the rest of the bike...
