[Discussion] The fastest in acceleration/pick up bike under class 2A.

Hi all fellow riders, as this is Chatter box I feel it's the most suitable place to post this topic,

Generally I would like to take this chance to ask everyone out here, what you personally think is the fastest in acceleration/pick up bike under the class 2A category.

Because I'm deciding to upgrade to a class 2A bike, and I would like to know. I know most people would say the Scramblers like ktm4 or drz, let's leave Scramblers class aside, normal road bikes? How about super4?

Though comments and suggestion on Scramblers are welcome too!

*everything in this discussion is base on stock condition.

Thanks for reading and pardon my bad English :D

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

agreed... if u wanna consider the sports bike class... NSR250 and RS250 will suit the bill...

Rather pointless to go for the fastest pickup. You'll be smoked by the next available Class 2 hypersports bike anyway.

More important is what you want the bike for? Riding is much more than traffic light Grand Prix.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

Put on the smallest front sprocket and biggest rear sprocket available on any bike you want.

Confirm you will have the fastest accelerating bike in its class... but forget about the top speed.

And if its top speed you want.. then reverse the sprocket set up. Confirm you will have the fastest top speed but forget about the pick up.

thumbsup for this post.

or if u can manage to find, i think one of the really top ones would be a walter wolf 400cc.

as for drz wise, i tested against 1 with after market exhaust.

didnt see much of a diff in terms of pick up. and i was riding a stock pgm 4 with no powerups.

just my 2 cents.

that is a fantastic bike! even the britains admit its probably one of the best bikes ever.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)
