thats not the most dangerous one.

sometimes the helmet will get caught between rear fender and wheels, then lock the tyres and then BAM!

proper way is to secure over the seat or use a bag as mentioned.

here's a question to think about

i know to place a helmet like as seen on pic is quite unsafe n unhygenic

using helmet bag , sling it/carry it around the body. imo this too is unsafe. when in an accident we do not want any hard object to be in the way right.

we suppose to roll or slide to minimise damage but if there a helmet sling to a body, this can break some bones.

placing a helmet as shown in pic is more of hygenic issues.

safety aspect is if the strap area were to be pull in to the wheels or chain.

i see more harm if i sling any hard objects on my body.

imo

Basically it becomes an additional part of ur part which u may not be aware of or use to. Thus it increases the risk of touching something and sending ur bike out of control especially if speeding. Ever heard of high spd bike fly becoz of small stone on the road? Same principle.

But agree tat those sports bikes big or small dun ve box so usually ve this problem. But can solve it by getting ur pillon to take care of helmet instead of u bring for pillon. Then again there's always the first time giving a lift to a normally not pillon.

Well, seems tat no way out except for helmet bag but shahrul_azmil3 is right about safety... So how? I no idea since i ve box. =X Sports bikes pls share ideas.
