Ace Custom Tony, moved back to JB to semi retire. for Harley servicing and repairs,  i recommend Sanfu at Kaki Bukit.   Just google it.  They are efficient both in cost and time taken.  Simple

hey guys, i'm now in a small town in geneva, switzerland! hehe saw a few harleys here only. but theres alot of MV Augusta Brutales here! anyway since i'm here i am looking for a ride to ride ard europe in when i have R&R.

 

checked out a bike lease shop but its closed. anyone knows how much to rent a bike here?

damm.. now i remembered why i hate chrome.. was riding yesterday n get caught in the rain.. reached hm late at nite n didnt take a gd look at my bike... dis mornin i saw all my chromes were 'un-chrome'.. sooo disgusting... spent the whole afternoon 'chroming' back my bike.. especially the chrome exhaust... now i noe y i never see a harley on the road on a rainy day.. hahaha...

agree, like that day i bought my disc clamp, for abt $118, no choice cause i needed it urgently

Sept 06 - Feb 08 = TZM

Feb 08 - April09= CB 400 Version S

May 09 - Oct 10 = Harley XR1200

Oct 10 - Oct 12= KTM SMT 990

Oct 12 - Oct 13 = Tmax 500

Mar 13 - Jul 13= SYM maxsym 400

Jul 13 - Sep 15 = Getz 1.4

Oct 15 - Now = Burgman 650

you mean those anti-theft disc clamp? gosh you can get it at motorworld or even LAB for around $40 to $50, just that it does not bear a harley trademark chop, but maybe a oxford

Gents, cant find tony Ng anywhere talked to him a few weeks ago and he was in Indo, need some work done,i'm in JB, where are the workshops in Sing to go with parts and someone that knows what the F**k they are talking about

 

i roughly kinda understand wat u'r saying...r u looking for tony from custom cycle? u can also go to sunburst at amk and some shop...but if :angel:u lookin for parts...i suggest u go to ebay.

That is the reason why you can hardly find any chrome on my bike... hehehe... :angel:

Hey Yohji, woohoo on your 'new' exhaust! Now can focus on getting your 2-up. Regarding your leak, why don't you just give Eugene of HD a call and arrange to send the bike in. Eugene was nice enough when i sent in my bike for servicing and i didn't even buy the bike from them. The day after sevicing he even called to check if everything was ok. Maybe they don't check their email account.

 

Yah my bike has grown up into a real bike haha. I will them up tomorrow and find out what's going on. 2 weeks never check email. How can that be?

 

Wow you received such good service. Hope I can have that too. That should be the way isn't it? Premium brand should give premium customer service.

Tell me about it! My chromed exhausts look like **** now! I still cannot remove those melted rubber bits (which I believe are from the belt)! Argh!! Already tried Brasso, Autosol, Meguier's Metal Polish, and rubbing while pipe is hot. And my heat shields recieved scratches here and there while the "new" pipes were being worked on. Sigh! Why do my bikes have to receive damage everytime I send them to workshops?!?!??!?!!?!?!?!!??!

Bought Fatboy stock exhaust from ebay for USD25/shipping USD100. (still very new)

 

Did the debaffling in Muar, Malaysia in a car exhaust mod shop. Only 35 ringgit. They use blow torch to cut it out (with water to cool the tip of mufflers), no blueing at all. Then they smoothen the edge with a pneumatic grinder. Total 1hr. Then i got them to make 2 custom baffle for me...another 35 ringgit. Took them another 2 hr. So total 70 ringgit!

 

 

BTW, I did not ride there, drove there for a wedding...

 

Sound wise, not too bad..the tone is not low enough...my wife says that my previous 883 sportster/screaming eagle back in '96 sounds better...:cry:

 

I think i have less than 50km on it since I changed it but i seems to get louder.. maybe something to do with the packing or just my ears. Occasional backfiring when easing of on the throttle when going downhill..other than that, lost some power compared with D&D..BUT louder than D&D.

 

My old D&D pipes (Fatboy) is at Rosli's if anyone is interested...need to raise some funds for headlight nacelle...

 

Wow.... I didn't expect you to change the exhaust that way. For the sound, it's all individual, no right,no wrong. As long as you like the sound, that's all that matters. You don't like the way the exhaust note turns out, then it's wasted. That's my 2-cents.

 

Did you re-tune the engine after changing to the current exhaust? I wish to see what you did to the new pipes 'cos you've come up with an idea that I haven't thought of :smile:

leave the rubber there bro.. consider it your trademark... if we see a bike with rubber marks on the pipe, we will know it is u... it willl also be a theft deterrent because thieves might feel it is too troublesome to change the sticky pipe

I dont know much about bike rentals in CH.

The bikes that i rode in Switzerland are all borrowed from friends.

 

However, if you have the chance do go for it.

Geneva has nice winding mountainous roads neaby.

great for riding and the weather now should be fine although a bit cold.

do take note that , traffic is left hand drive.

I was escaping from the rain earlier on on my Triumph! I kena 30secs of rain on the BKE! Made me ride fast and furious :lol: but it was GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!! I guess some bikes just need to be ridden hard. Yeeeeeehhhhaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

BTW have you collected the exhausts from the guru? Hope they are kept properly. Don't want to see them get scratched up again :(

I got to either ride or take taxi. Too inconvenient to take public transport from my home to work place. Since riding is cheaper, I ride in the rain :(

saw an iron at bukit panjang, senja, jus now.. wanted to say 'hi' but he rode too fast.. wonder if its any of u guys.. also kept seeing this 'masked' black sportster rider at yishun.. also wonder ifs its any of u guys.. since i also wear mask when ridin, we both can only see each others eyes n so we say 'hi' by winkin & raising eyebrows... hahaha.. hope he's not gay & winking at me for some other reaon.. hahaha...

Uh not me leh .. I never ride my Iron for a few days already. Last night I was downstairs wiping it .. preparing it for battle :lol:
