If getting 2nd hand harley wat is the pro and con like...

L, R or Iron

Range from $18K to $22K (nt including insurance & COE)

comes with 2 yrs manufacture warranty & servicing package...

Wonder gt change a not though...

Do call the agent for more info...

 

Intrest is 3.88% for installment (1 to 3 yrs)

4% for installments (4 to 5 yrs)

Dwpay min 10%

All subject to bank approval....

 

Pros & cons....

 

Well the newer sporty has longer bore stroke thus performance wise is slightly bettre than the older ones....

but the sound is kinda "quiet" on the newer harleys....

 

There are many more....

 

K Most impt is depend on yr budget mate....

but I strongly rec buy 2nd hand...

ATTENTION VROD owners, if u r thinking of doin a simple swap from your existing ride to a fatter 240 rear tyre, look no further. Jus removed my swing arm rotors n wheel off my VRSCDX and it will be a direct bolt on for rods running anything less than a 240 rear.selling it for 3k. Thought it would be more pertinent posting it here since it's a specific harley part.installations aren't a problem so if interested pls pm or call me at 82821171

Juz change to a black handlebar & black housing...

Now looking for black grips...lol

I would say just get out and ride. But these days lots of rain. Can meet up with the HOG riders on last Sunday of the month. They offer a new riders course from time to time. Check their website.

 

Also, 18 Dec they have the toys for tots ride. It all goes to charity. Ask the dealership for details. Will be a big convoy of many different clubs.

Hi, anyone here goes to 'Su*h**' for servicing? After this incident below, I think i feel inferior and will never step in this shop ever...

 

My sportster was there (Bukit Timah Old Race Course) for some re-spray touch-up job on the engine cover recently, I initially approach Su*h** for enquiry on the job requested but to my surprise they commented that my Harley looks like a piece of junk! and after ramping on the throttle of my stock Nightster, nothing came out from their mouth is positive. They commended that they never seen anything like this before. Wads wrong with this people!!!! It is just a stock bike!!!! So????

 

They refused to take up the job because they said they dun do just a single piece of engine cover but the entire engine re-spray!!! This kind of small job they are not interested!!! WTH!!!! Thats way I have to asked another shop somewhere there to do it, basically i feel that people there are a look down on anyone who own a cheaper series of Harley????

 

Again, I email them recently and ask for a estimated quote for entire engine re-spray. They ask me to visit them and discuss!!! Wad so difficult to quote a estimated cost????? Subsequently they ignored my email... they dun reply...

 

 

This statement are witness by my regular bike mechanic from Kaki Bukit workshop, they were there when they commended these negative words on my 08 stock Nightster.

I might not be able to afford a high end Harley like 'Fatboy' or 'Roadking', but mind you people there... to all people out there who own a Sportster. They are definitely not cheapo!!

this is not the way to do business.... big or small deal.. it is a deal and also not good to commend on people's bike with all negative comments in-front of the owner. If you think it is not nice than suggest accessories that will enhance the look la... dun say like a piece of junk la.. not so nice to hear lor...

 

make me feel like I am cheapo Harley owner lor.. who will dare to go back???

 

If people who ride sportster which is the cheaper series of HD are all cheapo, then how about those people who ride Honda phantom or other brand cruiser???
