Anyone on metzler me880 160/80 b16 with rear stock rim? Stock size is 150/80 but read that metzler is slightly narrower therefore 160/80 will still fit without rubbing. Izzit true? Tks

 

With non-shortened rear shocks it should fit without problems, plenty of americans use it.

I'd just like to tell you guys out there to be extra vigilant when sending and collecting your bikes at the HD dealership. Especially if your bike is getting some mechanical/electrical work done on it.

 

It has been a gawd awful 7 months ding donging my bike with the dealership. Apparently the mechs there don't have sense to check that everything is in order when returning the bike to their owner. Very very very unprofessional and inept I must say. Can you imagine a dealership of HD forgetting to put back a bolt on the crackcase? Not torquing sparkplugs and not plugging in the plugs to the alternator? Oh and my bike was with them since last sept and I only got it out in Feb. Afterwhich there were weekly tows back.

 

The whole episode was so depressing that I so nearly wanted to quit riding.

 

So please bring along a torchlight and make sure all bolts, connections and hoses are in order before riding off.

 

And for me...never again.

if you are getting a brand new harley, then i think they will give you a 2 year service package or 4 servicing which ever comes first

 

there are many indy shops around sg that can service and repair hd.

pay attention on your oil servicing schedule and your hd should serve you well

Tried ebay? I just changed to Dunlop 404 on the rear.. Prefer the Dunlop treads. Made in Japan.. err bad timing i guess they're going out of stock for a while too.

Never tried buying Tyres from eBay... Think freight will be ex due to the weight?

Btw I've got the header rewrapped and was surprised that there isn't any rust on the header! Looks like the header is made of stainless steel...

It's been a long time since I last posted. Am starting to get irritated by my loud straight-through pipes on my Iron

 

Especially now I have moved, and I have to park at multi-storey carpark

 

Anybody letting go of softer pipes/have other pipes to recommend do let me know? I might even consider putting back the stock ones ... x_x

it either sunburst or custom cycles for me..both of equal distance from my home, i do drop by both shops for small talks during my off days even if there is nothing to be done on my bike
