Heard that the ECU also must re-prog so that a tweak in the spark timing will blend in together with all the aftermarket mod to increase HP

some versions of S4 has got an ECU (CDI), but it doesnt control the fuelling unfortunately.

If S4 dun have ECU then what do u think sync the firing of the spark plugs in the 4 cylinders?

 

FYI, CDI (Capacitor Discharged Ignition) doesn't sync the firing sequence of the plugs, it only stores and discharge high voltages as required by individual plugs. The ECU will determine when n which cylinder to fire in sequence and sends the correct firing sequence signals to the CDI circuits.

Have the Dynojet setup in the mule. Didn't come alive until I fitted the k&n and full system though. Economy didn't seem to change much, actually felt slower off vtec but the smoothness of the topend rpm was vastly improved.

My 15L had just finished.. 320km for 15L.. abt 21km/L.. installing dynojets had significantly improved and smoothen my ride..

previously before dynojets, abt 17.3km/L.. 15L for 260km..

mostly expressway riding.. i clocked 320km in 5days..

 

haven got chance to go for dyno run.. hope to go for it soon..

i was wondering...dynojet is a brand for jetting issit? So issit possible for the machanic to fix a similar size jet so the cost wil b cheaper yet without losing performance.

 

Cos small bike they do jetting oso nv use dynojet. Jz wondering issit the same
