i think it's more practical to measure mileage to how much fuel consume rather than how much u top up per month.

i live at tampines n work at changi, distance travel to n fro about 20+km. so each month i top up twice 15+ liter per tank (35km/l). sometimes just go for joy-ride or downtown shopping distance cover maybe additional 70~100km per trip (to n back).

so monthly spent on petrol not so accurate to measure km/l. :cheeky:

if go jb n top up will be even cheaper still, return back still have full tank.

Hi, I'm riding a phantom..

i spent abt $10 per wk on VPower.

I stayed in Tampines and ride to sch at Clementi (abt 25km). 5 days a week.. so i guess, my bike is fuel-economical..

i did re-fuel at JB RM10 once and by the time i reached home, 50km is gone..

When COE price is high, its not advisable to buy Wave.

Take this month COE of $851.

It can pay for alot of petrol.

I am riding a wavem and my weekly petrol is $5.

One year = 5 x 52 = $260.

The COE money paid to gahment can last a Wave owner (851 / 260) = 3 years of petrol.

Amazing right?

yikes.. some ppl spend 10-30/mth on petrol? wow! riding wave?

Last time SP 20

Now R6 40

ride to sch and back only abt 8k

Think use more fuel in warming the bike up than in actual travelling distance
