hahaha... didnt know got a thread just for planet motor...just wanna write this to tell all the peeps that this is the only shop that ive been servicing ma bike since 2004... one of the honest and down to earth boss around... can talk one,,, no problem..... i remember this one time ma rxz suddenly stop in the middle tpe no apparent reason.. but can still start again so went to the nearest bike shop and ask the uncle there wats the problem... wah!!! he say ma piston got problem blah blah blah... around 500 to repair..didnt believe him so went to ah chong .... ah chong hear only.... then he say this one 30 dollar only oil gasket cover kaput.....see the difference...but nowadays his shop a lot of people... dunno whether he can still maintain his quality standards... since all the old birds left only got one left the rest all new....wish him good luck la...better come early in the morning then less people...

meaning u buy the 3 bottle of EO and a oilt filter the outstanding 200ml they give it to u free?

 

And any idea how much they charge for the OEM oil filter for R1 04-06?

went to chong for 2 problem on my phantom..

 

1) Brake oil leakage (change the tube and rubber)

 

2) engine with Tak tak tak sound..(change Tensioner)

 

free oiling of chain..

u need to purchase a 4th bottle. but next time u go, can use the eo from the 4th bottle. most shops are like this too.

if you're regular, the extra 200ml is free, if ah chong is free (on raining day), you get to bleed the brake free also, haha....

acherli not free..most r left over oil from customers..like my bike use up 2.7litre per oil change+ oil filter..they will nt gimme back the 0.3litre unless i request 4 it...

Kakit bukit there. Shun li indust. Is not i say what. De new mechs there nth to comment le. Ah beng leong all ex planet is way more better. Too bad they jump if nt will keep going back planet. And de price is about de same as planet. And i trust them to do my bike. Guess i follow mechs and no shop =p

 

And loois motoworld sanfu are near lol. can buy things. And de kopitiam there makan is way nicer then ubi lol.

About de same. Can only say fixing and selling stuffs mostly ah beng fix de prices. And its around de same as planet. or even cheaper cnt cfm. Being told by de mech there. If u wan to knw de price ask ah beng. the boss dun fix de price.

the boss joseph was planet's old customer..

doubt joseph knows much of the pricing..

ah beng's the one who will quote u..

yeap, at times ah beng's quotes are lower than ah chong..

competitive mah..

 

still many old regulars would go back to planet for the rapport built over the yrs..

even bikeworkz mechs, ah di, ah leong, ah beng and ah huat(left bikeworkz) were trained by ah chong..

when they started off at planet, they were no better than the current new ones..

 

i am a regular at both shops..

on a bad day, waiting time at bikeworkz can be no better than at planet..

though i have to give it to bikeworkz, they currently have better experienced mechs there..

just my 2cents worth..
