Acceleration power is not important than a good perfect braking system to prevent an accident.

Depends on how you ride and maintain the bike. I had some major problems with the GSX R400N model. Electrical wiring, rectifier and coil problems. With the GSX R400R, not so much problem. That's why I rode that bike for 7 years... :thumb:

i think that CBR can last longer but it also have to depand on how u take care of it, well as for gsx i got no comment on it la cause it's much worse than cbr

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?

cbr ergonomics more relak, gsx a little back breaking.

mid-high rpm the acceleration & sound is great, though i cant hear much of it.

mine is entirely stock, no special brakes, no special suspension, no special nothing and i hit 230km/h (in sg btw =X)

u have to get used to the problems that old bikes have sometimes though.

my gsx fuel consumption very bery high, perhaps due to the way i ride, its now 17ltr max 230km, which translates to lemme see....13.5km/ltr - that;s the main thing that's killing me now.

its just a stepping stone, planning to get hayabusa, but having a gd time with my gsx now.

anyone wheelied ur gsx before? or any 400 for that matter? im interested.

hi fellas.. be it CBR400 or GSX400.. is it difficult to find parts for it??

personally, i prefer a G4 tto a CBR in terms of looks.. but i think CBR is more economical..

Hmmm, that's strange cos my previous GSX R400R could make 280km on full tank. I rode it until it ran dry just 200 metres from a petrol station and I had to push it all the way there to top up. I think your carburettor needs to be serviced cos before I serviced mine, the fuel consumption also very high. Just like yours. Can managed only around 220km - 230km on full tank...

If you service your carbs at Kim Keat Motors located at Ang Mo Kio Techpoint, it would be $80. Most bikeshops charge $80 for servicing of carburettors. When I was riding my Gixxer, I serviced mine at HKL which was only $60. My HKL mechanic is reliable but he would take the whole day to service the bike cos he keeps servicing one bike to another. I could send my bike at 11am and collect it only at 6pm. :slapforehead: However, don't know whether the charge is still the same now...
