i've been using SPC 95 for over a year, occasionally esso 95 ( i think), and SPC works well for my bike. FC of around 35-38l/km. havent tried all the 'high class' petrol b4, as long as it gets my bike going , it's good petrol :)

I used to pump Shell 98 and used to hear a "ssshhh... ssshhh... ssshhh..." sound from my engine. And then I changed to Techron 95 the sound went away. So, now sometimes pump Shell 98 some other time pump Techron 95.

engine will somehow sound different with different grades of petrol... funny huh..

i am switching between SPC 92 and Caltex Techron 95.

with SPC 92 the engine sounds louder. that doesn't make

me feel good, especially when i want to go above 90 km/h.

Techron 95 makes me feel the engine is cleaner and quieter.

like advertised, with all those guys scrubbing at the inside

of your engine. i feel the carb is cleaner also.

i can't seem to stick to a single type of petrol though, sometimes go for caltex platinum for the cleaning properties, then if got promotion will go for vpower, sometimes exxon 98 or 95

still experimenting the mileage diff between exxon 95 & 98 for my bike

TA200, i pumped caltex PLATINUM last. Mileage like v bad leh... I thought must be lagi best, but think I only got like 25km/l. so now I'm back on GOLD which is Techron 98, that gets me about 30pluskm/l. Anybody know what on earth Platinum is? Like Vp ah?

I pump mobil 95 bcos the petrol station a few block away from my hse. I get 40 km/Litre. out of 2 time pumping data. travel below 90km/hr most of the time.

different petrol got different feeling. so far i played with quite afew petrol. V power shiok.. but not suited for phantom. noisy at high speed. msia super shell. very rough on the engine. vibrate alot till hands and feet numb and sound so bassy noisy. shell95 and 92 like quiet quiet only the engine. but pickup dun expect much. like a cruiser suppose to accelerate i guess. esso 5000/2000, not much difference with the shell.

Used to ride: TA200 -02, WR 200DT -94, VXR 200 -04, CB400 Spec 2 -02, GSXR400RN -92, CB 400 Spec 3 -04, VLX 400 -94, DRZ400SM -06, FZ6 S2 -09

Current bikes : YZF R1 -08
