But do rider or driver really say thank you to the car or bike really giving way to them? I don't know some of you. But sometime if can, i'll lift up my left hand and sign thank you to them.:)

Hmmm wonder they understand my sign or not ...hahaa....:cheeky:

i do whether driving or riding

when riding i raise my left hand high for a couple of secs

when driving if i feel they can't see me through my windows i open my window and stick my hand out

:)

call me stupid, crazy or whatever

but i do believe in instant karma for these things

and i try to give way too on bike or car *especially to those who know some thing called "indicators"*

Grounded... :/

Met another two nice Comfort Sonata drivers who waited for my big slow Phantom to pass them whist entering the KJE from CCK. After overtaking I pulled left to let them pass on the first and centre lane then filtered back out behind them.

I've rode a Yamaha for 6 years and as far as I'm concerned, no one seems to bother giving way to a Y125Z. They are more polite to cruisers with panniers perhaps because these are not reputed to be "boy racer" type machines.

so many factors eh..

last but not least: hope bikers dun get complacent with the "KING of the roads" - they dun get that reputation for nothing. I'll praise any nice cabbie(s), but as far as im concerned, they are 1 special group i always look out for, amongst others..

True about the taxi drivers. I really fear the way they drive, even when I'm driving. No civic consciousness to check mirror/signal before turning/check blindspot when they want to change lane. Really putting our lives at risk.

Just to reply ur comment, the cam on my bike nt v good. Its peak hr, and the cab in front is nearer than it seems. And that was the travelling speed... I had a 2 - 3 car buffer.

c'est la vie~

Well, it normal. Just glad that nothing serious happen and both are in one peace. Get a bit @#&*(# from him is normal too, just say sorry and smile.

It won't hurt anyway.

It quite diffcult for rider or driver alone to understand one another or even greed to a certain point. Just like lane spliting, some rider think that car give way to rider lane split is not a must but should be this way. Some driver think why i should give way to you, i'm bigger need more space babaaaa... no ending.

But do rider or driver really say thank you to the car or bike really giving way to them? I don't know some of you. But sometime if can, i'll lift up my left hand and sign thank you to them.:)

lol after which I can see that I'm still poor at driving... still I'll do my very best to improve and keep a look out at others...

Yes, I does appreciate others showing appreciation for your efforts by raising their hand.. it kind of bright up your day. God bless!

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

hrmm yaa. along ubi there. tskk. i cut into buslane to make a left turn, coz the traffic quite heavy, skali at the bustop got the short lady in white daah. i dunno if kena or not, just wait for letter lor.

Saw a few unsafe riding from fellow riders...

here's one, can't understand whats the rush.

i overtook like that , ONCE . *guilty* and that was the last time i'm gonna cut like that. why? coz i'm not fast enough for this class 2 bike, coz he just immediately cut infront of me, squeeze like what the fella did in the video, and went ahead.

7 years of riding and I'm still allergic to filter lanes following car drivers who for some reason or another always check their blind spots for oncoming traffic at the last second and jam the brakes at the white line. If that example of piss poor driving is bad enough, they again never fail to accelerate in a manner that is jerky and indecisive creating hazards and unnecessary congestion. As I've mentioned before, those motorcyclists who love to rev their engines at the stop light and squeeze right to the edge of the yellow box are ironically incapable of launching their machines properly. The only solution is to avoid like the plague and overtake them before they jam their brakes in a perfectly open stretch of road.

this kr rider with pillion trying to be yaya in front of me. as we move off from the traffic light, he started to ride in zig zag manner, weaving in and out cars, reving his bike unnecessarily. irritating.

what the **** is he trying to prove? prove that he can't ride straight? idiot.

Umm... I'm working around UBI and this is for everyone. The bus lanes along UBI is always patrolled by police. So do watch out and DON'T go into the bus lanes over there at the you-know-what-time-the-bus lanes-can't-be-used timing.

Biking is something that everyone can learn and enjoy! :goodluck:

Bad riders aside giving them a bad rep I have met a few young Malay gentlemen taking very good care of their old KRRs at Marsiling & Yishun area. Their attention to detail rivals my Phantom washing guild (lol). You don't see that much TLC given to the 'racing' cubs!

This morning while I was cornering (leaning left) along the bend joining PIE and BKE (toward woodlands), a malaysian kup suddenly appeared 2 feet away on my right.

If you know, that bend has 2 lanes. I was on the left lane. The right lane was clear since it was a sunday morning with little traffic. This idiot biker really gave me a shock. I was cornering and he had to ride so close to me!

* Composition fine of $130

* Up to a maximum Court fine of $1,000 or 3 months of imprisonment (if the offence is not compounded and offender is convicted in Court for the first time)

Currently, the operating hours for bus lanes are from 7.30am to 9.30am and 4.30pm to 7.00pm on weekdays, and from 7.30am to 9.30am and 11.30am to 2.00pm on Saturdays.

On 3 October 2005 , the full-day bus lane scheme was implemented on a pilot basis along Orchard Road , from Paterson Road to Dhoby Ghaut, to improve bus speeds along heavy corridors during off-peak hours. The operating hours for full-day bus lanes are from 7.30am to 8.00pm on weekdays and Saturdays, excluding public holidays.

The penalty for using the bus lane during operating hours is a composition fine of $130.
