ah ya flash no flash not important lah. I for one don't ever intend to get any summons from stationery speed cams. If kenna from TP bike or those cameras in hiding still nothing to say. Stationary speed cam and u know where it is, still kenna, really :slapforehead:

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

KPE speedcam confirm got flash.

that time i was riding at lane 1.5 when this suzuki swift zoomed past me at lane 1, i experienced the flash together with the speeding suzuki swift. two flashes to be exact.

KPE tunnel comfirm got flash i've seen it with my own eyes!!!

once i was traveling and than a bike think it's a class 2 sport tourer kind

zoom past me and past the camera and WOAH! the tunnel suddenly lit up

brightly! how can you miss that? ever since i always followed the speed limit. lol.

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

few hours back while passing by jalan bukit merah while on the way home, saw the aftermath of an accident. seems like a taxi buang a pedestrian. the poor uncle was lying there motionless. stopped by the road side to see if i could offer any help but the cops already got there. after a while, the ambulance came so i scooted off in case any of them wanna book me for obstructing traffic (parked by the side of the road on the double yellow line)

no skid marks, and the uncle didnt seem to fly (maybe brushed against him) but still hope the guy would be ok

u need to be young and reckless to become old and wise..... if u survive

today while riding, burned my leg on the exhaust of the daystar.

painful but not unbearable.

1 hour later, blisters started forming and the burn area become reddish and splotchy.

i guess thats how medium is done on human flesh. 2nd degree burn.

please wear long pants when riding.

yes, either that or seek immediate attention. I always put toothpaste on burnt skin immediately, only applicable to first degree burns. Best is apply burn cream and cover with a bandage.

Actually, it's better to just run cool water onto the burn for a few mins. If you do it fast enough, the injury will be minimal. This is because once the burn occurs, there will be a continued process of injury aggravation for some time. Running cool water over it arrests this process.

yes, that too... thank you for pointing out.

didn't ride for two days, return to CP to retrieve my bike... I clearly remembered that my bike was park somewhere close to the right side of the CP. Now its situated on the left... Found some mud stain on my rim and sump area. :( I washed my bike on saturday so this shouldn't happen.

While my ride to office, about to move towards my location saw this OL walking across the road. I saw her approaching so I shift my vehicle to the left to avoid her, then she move back again... I have to pull the brake to avoid hitting her. It was a close up encounter, seems like she kind of "piss"?

Today while riding.... nothing happened... cos the kids and kiddies still having school holidays.... thank goodness.

sad to say this the last week, next week onwards they are back on the road!

Colleague spoke about the incident this morning, where a rider made a last minute filtering from left to right. Where my colleague has to make evasive action to avoid the rider.

Problem is where the rider is closing the left kerb and my colleague wanna perform a left turn. Out of sudden the rider decide to filter right, such a move escalate the chances of hitting one another. Please be careful.

today while riding to the mosque, realised that the traffic had been diverted due to fallen tree branches which blocked the traffic. so on the way there was heavy traffic and all of a sudden a comfort sonata taxi just jam braked infront of me. almost kiss the back of the taxi but managed to swerve to the other lane. my heart just stopped for that moment.

today while riding!!!

1) went through a flood  @ upper thomson in the morning, would like to thank the kind driver who realised the wet situation i was in and allowed me to cut into lane 1 (lane 2 and 3 submerged). sweatz man, not fun to swim on a bike.

2) thereafter, reached office half dry - left shoe dry, right shoe drenched. pants mostly dry, underwear wet, back of shirt dry, front of shirt soaked.. :faint: wear sweater whole day like dumpling..

3) as it was still raining when i reached, i wore my wet rain gear up til the office, but decided to take em off @ the fire exit staircase else will drench the office upholstery. i conveniently left my keys on the latch @ the stairs (pockets are deep buried by the rain gears).

i only remembered when i knocked off - went to bike, reach into pocket "EH?! keys not with me?!" traced back my exact path til i saw the keys.. -phew-

dunno if my bike was damaged, will observe for a few more rides.. Heng i changed my tires 1 week back, else that botak rear tire may have hydroplaned while i cut through the flooded area.
