Hi thepole,

understand that sg roads are not design for 140km/hr but i dont agree with you with your phrase "further more on a 2B bike"

i think he means 2b bikes going at such speeds is dangerous for both the rider and other road users. some more the bike is so light, it will feel like lifting off at such speeds liao. no need to get to cranky over dat post.

funny that someone can get offended with that. thanks to gwzc_mk2 for clarifications. that is EXACTLY what I meant. the guy who posted doing a 140 is obviously not professionally trained to race and he did it on public roads. this shouldn't be something to be encouraged.

observe the road regulations. and the reason why bike insurance are going higher and higher each year, is because of mostly 2b riders who are still NEW to their machines, over-estimated their abilities and get into accidents. more accident = higher premium..

Is your headlights' angle too high? Normally HID if proper light beam angle it should not offend other road users. On the other hand, I appreciate HID users behind me lighting up the whole road and sides, provided angle does not blind me.

i installed it on my x1-r, not sure if the angle can be set though

Back to the topic! :D

Today while riding, I topped up my oiler before setting off, because haven't oiled my chain for 3 weeks, then forgot to off the valve! :faint:

When I parked at Tan Tock Seng, came back, got 1 very big puddle of new engine oil on the floor.... :sian:

So I started wiping.... :sian::sian:

Used up all my tissue paper also not enough!

So when to toilet grabbed a big stack of paper towels, go back carpark to wipe. Wipe and wipe, until quite ok liao, but when I road tested by walking across, still slippery leh, so got more 1 paper towel and placed it on the stain, but very hard to stick, because the oil almost fully dried,so I stomped on the paper repeatedly until I was quite sure the paper will not fly away. Hopefully the next person who park there will see the paper and be careful when parking. :cheeky:

Then went JB to pump petrol!

But.... forgot to bring pen. At the custom the Malaysian officer very 'Kuai Lan' when I ask if he got pen to borrow, he ask "why at home no pen?"

Never mind, I Big man don't put to heart small people's fault. Fill in the form already, return the pen still got say thank you!

Then it's petrol pumping time!

At my favorite petrol station, got a 'Lao Chio' promotor asking me again what brand of cigarettes I smoke,

(again, because last time I went to pump she also asked the same question) I cheekily replied, "Haha! You forget already! I don't smoke one!" :cheeky:

Then she replied, 'Don't recognize you because wearing differnt helmet mah!' Hahahaha!

Then on the way home, at Mandai going towards Yishun, I witnessed an accident, a white car rear ended a blue subaru at a red light!

The Subaru was pretty badly dented, the entire number plate fly away! And the bumper go all the way in, if I am not wrong, the inside of the trunk will also be dent.

The Subaru was pushed all the way into the yellow box by the impact of the crash, since nobody was injuried and there was no space to reverse, the driver got no choice but to follow the green arrow and do a right turn before coming out of the car.

At first I wanted to zip away, since it's not my problem mah! But then you see my face like this===>

How can? Some more no one else stopped to offer help. So after I passed by the Subaru, I stopped a few metres infront of the car and gave the driver my number in case he needs a witness.

And for those who buy 4D one....

White car's plate number = 7829

Blue Subaru plate number =6692

See I so good!

Remember my face is like that one ===>

How can not be good right?

If buy and kena 4D must remember to treat me dinner hor! :hungry:

No, nothing wrong with that. Please continue to do so if you have such habbit.

hm, so u scolded the guy for riding one hand..and now reiterates by saying there's nothing wrong with that?..whats ure stand here??

I saw so many drivers driving with 1 hand too.

Did the school teach us to drive with 1 hand

some motorists use fingers....:faint:

Actually some sports bike's riding posture can be quite tiring when riding for long distances.

Especially Race Replicas (RR) whose sitting position stretches the body forward like pumping position. :btw:

Last year when riding my "xiao lao pao" a sleek, sexy japanese, Miss Suzuki Gsxr400RR :lovestruck: to Kuala Lumpur and back within 24hrs, I got tired on the NSHW too and rested my left elbow on the tank; on and off to take the tension off the wrist. :cheeky:

The guy you saw deck in full riding gear, riding one arm probably went to track in Malaysia, and after riding whole day in the racing position he is probably tired and rode 1 arm to rest his joints. Not really idiot or arrogant rider, just 1 very tired and worn out rider on the road. :dozed:

wah u made it to G4 all the way KL?...i sold my G4 after one trip to Malacca....already felt like dying:angel:

oh, hahas no worry i won't whack my bike in singapore road ald =/ kena scolding from all the laojiao. next time join outing then jb then talk =/

Today i rode to work and encountered this NUH nurse on a fino(bronze/brown) (p plate) who was weaving in and out of traffic dangerously. If you want to do it, the least you could do is SIGNAL to alert others. I kept my distance from you, but you almost crashed into me when i was switching from PIE to AYE! Hello, driving sch teach you to do abrupt 3 lane switch isit? Damn, carry on this way of riding and you'll reach the hospital not for work but as a casualty. Damn reckless!

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.
