I dun wan to sterotype but *&*^%&% IDIOT TAXIS!!!

Don't you know taxi drivers are all closet murderers and wannabe Shumachers, overtook one on a bend also want to drag race at the next traffic light -_-

today while riding, went up to 99 bends for the first time with a group of R15/R125... That road is freaking scary... And i stalled my engine twice.. so use gear 1 chiong all the way up... and braked/fishtailed when going downhill cos a very sharp bend is ahead... dammed scary...

Wah can stall going uphill on a 4 stroke ah?

You 4 strokers have powerful engine braking, use it. If got very sharp bend then scrape footrest la.

yeap.. at least 11 R15/R125 went together... I did not notice the sudden uphill... i was on gear 4... then end up lose power and stalled... used gear 1 all the way instead.. My tyres is stock tyres.. so i am worried that it will have not enough grip on road..

Don't worry much about grip if the road is dry unless your tyres are still waxy, the only reasons should you fishtail is you jammed on your rear brakes too hard instead of tapping them or slowly increase the grip or you're on sandy or wet surface and yeah, don't use your rear brakes in a corner, in fact, don't try to use brakes at all.

was riding back home around 4am along PIE after makan session at bedok blk 85 hawker centre. it was a cool raining morning ride. after Kallang bahru exit, saw a black figure in front and slowed down to avoid hitting it. it was a rider pushing what look like RXZ. standing at the road shoulder look like his pillon. he was badly injure with abrasion and blood on his leg. on lane 1, 3 taxi parked there.

look like an accident between those parties. hope the riders are fine and remember to wear long pant next time:sian:

Night + rain + taxi = dangerous. ride safely especially during raining reason. take care.

but i cornered very low already.. dont want to risk any slides out... for braking, i am more confortable with engine and front brake... rear brakes i used for slowing down only...

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

You still young la.... got the fire... so whenever you next get the urge... just think of your family, and/or girlfriend. Picture them in your mind.... and then ease of the throttle.

You want to play speed... consider going to PG track... 2B also can go no problem.

Don't forget, adjust for braking on downshills, cuz there will be more weight on the front. Rear brake more prone to locking up as less weight on it. Also easier to overload front wheel with too much front braking, easier than on level roads, at least. Sitting slightly further back and griping tank hard with knees helps. Ideally, shouldn't feel weight coming onto handlebars when braking. At least, that's what I do.

Essentially, take it easy on the downs and brake when bike is vertical.

Ideally....ride safe and don't feel pressured to chase/go fast/split until you understand how your machine responds.

ya.. regret my actions... so when they say they wanted to go to yishun dam from punggol, I left and returned home.. feeling guilty... so outing halfway i run le... cos i decided i want to keep my promise to myself and wont risk being a statistic...

where is this place? the 99 bends?

err.. near science park there... its a uphill road which have alot of bends (and blind corners)... the closest thing to initial D... but very very dangerous...

sounds like an adventurous rider ar...it's South Buona Vista Rd rite? Always purposely go there do a couple of runs up and down. I use it to know what are my cornering limits..haha...btw, dun for a moment think that i speed there, i just enjoy those 4 short corners towards AYE and the long sweepers in between, even if u dun speed it's still quite fun...remember also that the roads are frequented by cyclist and runners so have to watch out for them as well..

in case you're wondering, there were comments that you can have similarly nice roads at around Neo Tiew area but lorries plough the roads most thus making the road condition less than desirable, and there are strips at almost every bend, making it very slippy on damp/wet conditions. Can go and try it out yourself but go with a couple of friends la cos it's quite ulu..

best thing to do, save up a little for safety gear and go pasir gudang la...haha..just my opinion...

Ride safe!

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...

think so.. my first time there... so i ride very very cautiously... nvr know if there is anything coming from the blind corner in front or cars that cant stay in lane during the bends... I also know my limits after my visit there... but lucky figure 8 was one of my strongest obstacle course while learning... I get class 2 le then go PG... haha... It was so shocking and exciting... but we was warned beforehand of the dangers and to ride in a single line up the hill... :)

yea. well Ive been there enough to know that if you're heading from West Coast Highway towards AYE, you have to watch tree trunks on the tight left corners. From the other direction, u need to be careful of the tight right hands corners, normally i dun take them so seriously so i rather relax thru them cos if u whack thru the corner u wont know what's coming the other way and u would't have left enuf room for error in the first place. Plus, those tight rights have some paint marks on them so looks like somebody poured oil all over the corner.

Ppl here already say class 2b oso can go. Like what a senior racer on the forum has said, "if you want your dose of adrenaline rush, go to track". I know im guilty too..haha so planning to go after getting my bike done up properly and get proper riding gear...On drz btw.

bro see u just passed one month plus eh? dont get carried away by peer pressure. When i just passed i also play play on the roads with my frens, that time still young dunno how to spell die so speed and speed only wearing shorts and slippers, cornering till peg scrap ground and see sparks then very happy.looking back, thank God that i din buang, dunno what would have happened if i buang without any protection on my body.

Ride safe, observe how people ride and drive, differentiate the good habits and the bad ones...plus alot of other thing other riders will be happy to point out..

-From a fellow rider.

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...
