anyway , today while turning left at a junction waiting for ppl to cross

i got a motorcycle who squeeze till at my left back passenger door,

and another 2 bike on my right, one near the bonnet and another by my door,

jus before the road is clear, a taxi stop at the lane which i am turning left. bo pian since left and right all motorcycle i let them go ,

and kena horn from behind ..

P.S I'm Chinese(Banana type).

 

My experience from mac-riding @ my hub:

Malay = love leaning the bike and take straights like an ah-pek

Chinese = love speeding on a straight and take turns like an ah-pek

 

becareful when turning, sometimes bicycle come from no where, if u turn too quick u may not spot them. Also alot accident happen in junction when vechicles are turning so watch out

i like this sentence. often small bikes always use this excuse when big bike zoom past them.. if they dare to disturb big bikes, they shld prepare to get smoke by them. but they always use this excuse to cover their ass lol

People have different speeds they are comfortable with, for me I ride everywhere a lil faster than most riders or drivers, it keeps me alert, it forces me too, if I ride too slow like ah pek, I'll get bored, sleepy and that's when **** happens. Fast but not too fast till you can't stop in time la. Doesn't matter corners or straights.

 

Oh yeah, I hate riders who try to squeeze on the inside on a U-turn junction or in fact, anywhere you can U-turn, you effing stupid is it, the person in front U-turn and you're goner, waste his and your time and money and touchwood, maybe waste a life. Never learn about turning radius is it.

Hahaha.. Really lah.. Sometimes after my night shift, on the way home, when all the Malaysians riding to work, I also ride slow mah.. Then they all zoom past me like don't know what.

Travelling direction : PIE -> AYE

Me : Honda Wave

Big Bike : Old Yellow 1000cc bike

 

I overtake a big bike in a roundabout, the Big bike gave chase. He blast past me once the road straighten up. He slowed after awhile wondering why I didn't give chase then he looked in the mirror to realise he got pwn/self-pwn because I'm just a Wave 125. He then gave me a thumbs up for the my overtake.

I also had a similar experience 1 yr old from a BMW tourer along Jalan Bahagia.

 

Once you ride enough, you will realise that riding a small bike fast is more exhilarating than riding a big bike fast.

Power is nothing without control.

 

Prefer to ride big bike than small bike n i can choose to go slow or fast n riding big bike fast r more exalirating... E feeling of taking a long bend above 200km/hr (sorry bro dun think u can imagine that though ) is damn shiok 1 ar hehe...

 

Btw dun tink that big bike cant take corner as fast as small bike coz if kena e "correct" rider n he block ur lining, u gonna b in bad shape

Because you overtake him from behind deliberately, which many smaller bike like to do this to a bigger bike. Not forgetting he can do that to you also.

Your ride enticed others to challenge you, after all you are still a loser to him, the thumbs-up could just means otherwise.

 

Totally agree with u bro .. Usually when i kena like that im waiting only for e fella to skid n give e thumbs up lolz... Dun underestimate big bike rider, i usually cant b bothered to play with these small bike riders coz dun want to feel ashame of myself coz if win also malu coz not my cc class ma n got nothing to prove lah... M riding 1400cc n still got those 400cc want to play with me, aiyoh, they blind or wat ... No doubt a 400cc can reach top speed of more than 200km/hr as some of them claimed but it will take them sometime to reach there compared to a 1400 but these riders juz dun get it or they juz simply ignorant

You're riding a 1400. My guess is it's either a GTR14 or a ZZR14. Any small bike (let's say a PGM4 or RS250) will be able to outcorner you in bends and outmanuever you in traffic. We're not talking about long straight highways here. Even a kup kia can take you in those situations. And the only thing you can do to take him back is when the road is straight and open. And then what? Ppl will say straight road shows who is rich, tight corners and traffic show who got balls. You beat him on the straights, you lose. You play with him in traffic/corners, you still lose. What's the point?

 

If it's a jam, forget it. You will see his headlights getting smaller and further away.

 

It's all about physics. And that is something you cannot defy. Your big, wide, heavy bike cannot beat a small bike in those situations. So what's the point of fighting back, chasing him back, or blocking the fella. Let him go. Let him through. Forget about him. Go on your own way.

Haha tink i forget to tell u dat its not with my current bike dat im toking bout coz definately now riding a GTR1400 i cant b bothered to entertain such things ... Its with my ex Fz1s aka Fazera bro.. Fit it with 180/55 instead of e 190/50 n e diff is drastic ... Aiyah to cut it short, now riding my Akira, i dun botherlah bout other riders be it small/big bikes wanna "chio" me to play with them... Been there done that.. Now juz wanna enjoy my ride to e fullest

Even Fazer or R1 also got problem chasing a small bike in heavy traffic. Trust me on that. You're still bigger and wider than them. And when you come to two cars who're too close side by side to squeeze through, the little kup will simply pull a 90 degree split into another lane. Sometimes you can follow, sometimes you can't. But even if you can, you'll still pull it off slower than them.

 

You got your victories on the open road and track. They win in urban traffic.

 

But you know what's the ultimate victory? It's what YOU preached about in the lane splitting thread. You reach your destination in one piece, you win. So why are you even arguing about big bike vs small bike in the first place?

I hate it when all the big bikes all block my damn way in lane 1.5 in heavy traffic jam. They accelerate, brake hard, accelerate, brake hard. Even the Malaysian kapcai riders all pissed.
