Lol, I ve seen before adventure bikes with side boxes squeeze faster than me even when I was on s4, younger days, more rash

Yea. Saw those kind before. Respect!

No side panniers. Tomorrow going to check out some choices for top box. Panniers nice, and I would eventually need them if I wanna tour better. (previously just used tank bag and strap on to my seat =x )

I travel CTE everyday during rush hours. So might potentially create alot of problem for splitting. And also hard to siam if any reckless road users come along.

Later will present to you a video of a dumb driver, who think their car is fast enough. Block him initially, but still give chance and let him pass.

Adventure.

Yesterday on PIE i encountered one. He was very impatient and keep pushing this poor uncle on a rxz... end up uncle in his kancheongness to find space to let him pass, nearly kena langah by car. The guy just continued to zoom off, sidebox and all, and i decided to give him a taste of what he did to the uncle, so i stay close to him and pressure him... end up both of us lanesplitting at 90kmph. But he was fast, even though with the boxes, i guess that's why he got impatient, cos he knows what he's capable of.

encountered something similar last time when i was riding my s4 along bukit batok road.

since there is camera, i just ride relax. then this runner come up to cut and blow at the bikers on the road, me included.

then at the junction with the mrt track he keep revving his bike like wanna race with everyone.

so once the lights turns green, i gave him a 1 sec start and the rest, is history.

my days of being a dumbass :cheeky:

LOL!! This kind of riders, must overtake them and "tell" them.. u are not the fastest.. dun keep blowing at people.. :)

becareful heavy rain today

Thanks, but a bit too late.

Today while riding, (in JB) a storm was brewing, and I got caught in it before I could change into my raincoat. Fortunately, I managed to find shelter under a bunch of trees and slipped into my raincoat parked at the side of the NSHW.

Then pressing on through the storm, I passed into the eye of the storm and out through the other side and back towards the customs. :)

Warning it's a very long video.

Was riding along KJE and saw a poor uncle pushing his bike along the road shoulder.

I will regret if I dont stop by the side and help him. Luckily I did because I would hope someone will stop and help me when I need help.

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

I have a slight issue with lane-splitting. Don't get me wrong, I LS myself. It is the fastest way in a jam. And of course I LS with caution and much consideration to others. But pls pls pls...when you are LS, do not hog it. Some bikers just decide to go as slow on a LS like how they would travel behind a car. Then might as well travel on lane proper. When a slow biker hogs the LS, it creates a whole long line of bikerz behind who wants to go faster than that turtle in front.

Please please be considerate.

Thank you. Woohoo!

tdy while i was abt to ride, felt quite pissed off with the parking attendant that issued me a parking ticket. Took out the knot (tied part) from underneath the cover and realise that the whole cover was quite loose (i usually tie it very tightly). Saw the knot was different from how i usually tie. Managed to untie it aft a little difficulty, took out the cover and realise that a parking ticket was place nicely in between the tank and the seat. Realise that the cover was torn at the edge of right side mirror which was initially still in good condition when i covered my bike on sunday night.

My guess was that the parking attendant untie the bike cover to have a look at my number plate, submit the offence on his handheld device and tie back the cover in a slipshod manner. On a side note, are parking attendants allowed to open the bike covers? In my case, the parking attendant damage my bike cover

Apparently they are able to do so if you never indicate on the Bike Cover. However, for them to damage your Bike Cover, write in to your town council. :X Try la.

Guess so. Too many people are using this trick of covering their bikes but have no parking ticket or season parking. It pretty much disgusts me as a season parking holder. Rarely do I get a lot to park in even when I religiously have season parking every month as the lot will be filled with non-season holder and m'sian bikes. The lots are supposedly hybrid lots. This led other season parking holders and myself having to park on the pavement beside. If luck is not on our side HDB will fine us more. Thank you to busybody residents who just likes to complain. Perhaps I should complain why these pedestrians walk through the carpark instead of using the designated walkway to get to the next block?

Today while riding to work around 815am from hougang toward amk at the junction turn right is yck, I was squeezing in a almost complete stop, then infront there is a p plate which stop too right and I can't squeeze thr. So I change lane by squeezing infront a lorry left of me. I didn't check properly as I was near the traffic light, and the lorry was blocking the view.

the bike (a scooter) behind has to ebrake to avoid hitting me. If u every see this i am very sorry about it.

I agree with u. If ls at Same speed or slower than car, Don't ls. It's dangerous. Car might not see the biker. I see most uncle doing that. Everything I travel at pie at peak I will see a long line of bikes. Then I change lane and ls I will see a uncle hogging the lane

to get infront of the cars. I believe it was 3 cars away from the traffic light, I always try to squeeze to the front unless there is bikes blocking or it is really impossible to squeeze, just my preference.

so your preference nearly make someone fall of the bike right ?
