i notice koon tune is he rev and adjust the jet screw at the same time

 

got some info regarding carb tuning frm a thai motorcycle website and they are talking about kaihin carb which what phantom is using.. dunno how true...

if your bike still keep on backfiring even after you adjust the carb air intake ratio. think it's time for you to change the air suction unit.

its located under your oil tank but no need to remove oil tank to get it fix.

it backfire when i close throttle..

 

i ever see someone's backfire with explosion when he close throttle. not on purpose. every single time. A huge blue flame like "haduken"

 

according to metalfyre's post somewhere in the past, when u close throttle, too much fuel left in the chambers, it combusts later in the exhaust due to pressure or heat or whatever.

Hi, i'm interested to DIY this change. grandmaster did say its old already, if can afford good to change, but his price is very market rate, no pull factor to let him change. can briefly describe how to remove it? Just screws? Is there a gasket to worry about? Could just get the part at FJT and save the labour fees.

 

ps: everytime go anywhere service, must stay and watch them, if u walk off, sometimes end up empty tank, claim they help u wash this wash that.... I rather they dun wash and leave my fuel alone. irritating. Maybe take your fuel go and do for other pple also u dunno. No doubt fuel for bike not exp, but u drain 1 litre = kena charge 2 dollar extra for nothing.

if the sound occurs only at gear 6 and when you throttle or engine brake, then chances are your 6th gear is shot and needs replacing.

yup but u can ask ur mech to say that u only want to replece the spoil gear in ur gearbox, they will open up ur bike to fix it

 

if im not wrong heard before from my fren who had his sp gearbox

 

repaired around 240 plus at planet,

 

but well just a tip though coz different bike maybe got different pricing

1) Anyone encountered that your ta200 air filter got one big hole, i changed mine last sept and last week when opened up i was shocked to find a 5cm by 5cm square hole in my air filter!!

 

2) Anyone knows if your magnetic coil is spoilt will it affect your constant throttle i mean when u are at constant speed u feel that your bike is not v smooth sometimes decelerate then accelerate again??

hole in air filter? Just buy new 1 and change lor. couple of dollars versus a baby cockroach enter your carb......

 

maybe fuel line clogged for some reason. motordiam is your good friend.

haha you say it like a professional anyway many problems asked online also quite useless..in the end still have to find norman's best friend too

back fire can cost wat effect on bike?

recently ride 15 mins, my back brake become tight, can feel bike going slower.

stop at road spring water at the back brake disc wait a while back to normal sian~~~.

 

Ask ah chong he say small problem but change the whole rear brake mechanical from font to back also wont solve the problem. dun know wat he mean.

 

Problem dun lie in the brake disc even it expand due to heat.

so i guess it the brake pump, after i release the rear peddle the rear brake still grip on a bit.

Anyone have this problem?

something clogged up?

probably some sand or too much dirt.

Tml remove air filter clean clean, thought of remove the whole exhaust pipe to clean but not skill enough.

your rear brake pump is clogged with gunk. Get it and your calipers serviced if you don't know how to DIY.
