gotta do some acrobatics.

i'll make sure the tyre nipple is at 9 o'clock position (which is the proper position for checking pressure anyway), then slip the handle behind the brake disc. it'll usually go in.

okie.

will try out the stunt...

New question:

Just this past week, I find it difficult to kick up to the neutral gear. I normally clutch in and open the throttle ever so slightly to find the neutral gear. Now it seldom works any more! Have also tried letting the bike roll forward a bit then kick up...and successful only about 50% of the time.

Kicking up to other gears also feel much stiffer. I have changed the engine oil not too long ago, so it should not be because of that.

Any vets have any ideas what's causing this problem?

as far as i know,

by the time u reach 2nd arrow then the light start to turn orange (means reach 2nd arrow, light green turn orange), still can make it (actually is because cannot stop in time if more than 70km/h unless u got good braking system, but if behind got vehicle the back vehicle might be trying to beat the light).

hi, i was just wondering... cld u do a review and comparsion on phantom 200 and daystar 125 on the value for money, power, fuel comsuption, and others u think a newbie like mi nd to knw to make an efficient decision on wat bike to buy....

thks very much....

Hi Ice, we are not able to do a review on Daystar, as we are not very sure abt that bike, how ever you can get the spec review from the web.

Actual reviews however are not accurate as rides have different requirements & riding style.

Reviews are written in general from the manufacturer as a guide

From my point;

* Phantom TA are made in Thailand & produce by Honda.

* Daystar is brand under Dalim which were made in Korea by they are under the wing of Honda.

* IN term of power, TA do accelerate better. You are comparing a Dalim 125 to a TA150/ TA200.

*Due to its Low acceleration power for Dalim, u may be surprise to find out that its fuel consumption is pretty low compared to TA200.

* Looks & mod, Dalim have almost ever thing Original front & rear crash bar. For the look Dalim do look good & safe if you don’t mind the power.

* For part, you need not to worry as there are authorized dealer in SG but for Mod, you will need to get general items.

* Resale value is also an issue, so don’t expect too high for it. (Actually TA is also over supply, so resale pricing is also a problem, unless there are demand).

I don't think there is a cover (unless u DIY) cox u need to fit the whole chunk of wires from your stock headlight inside leh...

hey guys, i have been reading the forums for sometime and bought a phantom for 1 wk+ le. the thing is i was abit kuku, cos its raining so often these days my bike is rusting. so i just spray wd40 thinking it can at least slow down e rust till i get my polish. what happen is i sprayed some on my exhaust those welded and holding parts u know, where super hard to wipe one. then aft riding, i realise the bottle says not to use for above 50 celsius and above. Will anything happen to my pipe or not? and aft i stop e engine, i can hear like soft tick tick sound in e exhaust, is tt normal, cos i dont rmb hearing tt last time. it goes quiet frequent aft stopiing, then slowly longer interval and fainter. and there is a small hole at the bottom of the exhaust also right? perhaps i am being paranoid, but haha, i spend my entire savings on this thing le, so cant afford to spoil anything, haha. thanks lots for any help yup

Don't worry about the WD40. It won't caused any damage - maybe some stains marks at the places you sprayed.

The ticking sound from the exhaust is normal - caused by the exhaust pipe contracting. The small hole is for water to drain off.

nivleK1985: Wat abt passing lights? I tink fixing them to b activated wif e high beam produces better results. But remember seeing somewhere in e forum tat activating all 3 lights (headlights & passing lights) at e same time will drain batt right?

Smart Bet: As for pricing wise? I tink I'll most probably fix passing lights instead of changing my stock headlight. But it's a hassle to cover it up in Sg. Haha! =P
