Especially for those first timers joining us for convoy. (Old birds please refresh yourselves too) PLEASE READ THIS LINK

The postings by regarding the convoy formation is VERY IMPORTANT. Familiarize yourself with these rules and guidelines and follow them during the convoy.

 

Some other points to note:

1) Fuel up before the ride. There will NOT be fuel stops between KKFC and Costa Sands

2) Riding Gloves and Jacket strongly encouraged. Wear them if you have, else no need to specially buy one.

3) NO SHORTS/BERMUDAS/SANDALS/SLIPPERS ALLOWED

4) Wear PSB/SNELL/DOT approved helmets

5) Before the ride, check that ALL of your bike's lightings are functioning properly.

6) Keep at least 2 bike lengths distance from the bike in front of you.

I'm no enforcer, but we do encourage proper riding gear when riding under the PK banner.

This WILL be an official PK convoy

 

For the weekly casual outings, riding gear is a personal choice.

Hi all,

18th August 2007 (SAT) is near and we're gonno meetup at Kallang KFC 18:00hrs onwards.

 

Move off: 18:45hrs to 19:00hrs

DON'T BE LATE!!!!

 

You guys should be able to see lots of bikes wearing their black polo PK during that day and helmets all over.

 

The main person to lookout for "IS NOT THEM FIRST"!!!

You have to look for me to pay the "MONEY" heh heh heh and I mark the attendance as include in my list.

 

I suggest that we en-route via ECP - CHANGI CARGO COMPLEX - CHANGI VILLAGE - PARIS RIS CHALET.

 

1. When we start to move off from KFC, we need to make a U-TURN before we can head to ECP. ( This is not a good idea )

 

2. Shall we ride to Stadium Walk and make a big round turn use RIGHT TURN towards ECP instead?

 

3. Once we reach ECP, the convoy shall be smooth with speed about 60KM/H to 80KM/H and hence, we're advise to cover the LEFT MOST LANE ( no shoulder )

 

4. After Marine Parade, there is a LEFT TURN which is a ROUND 360deg link towards CARGO COMPLEX. Do be careful as not to over do it as there are many CORNERS and BUMP around.

 

5. When at along CARGO COMPLEX, try to keep head straight and look ahead instead of watching planes landing/takeoff on your LEFT. The road is very straight and keep yourself awake.

 

6. Ending of CARGO COMPLEX, we'll see CHANGI BEACH and CHANGI VILLAGE. Again, keep your eyes on the road and not the babes washing themselves after the sundown.

 

7. 10 more minutes ride, we will be intercepting PASIR RIS HDB AREA. This is where I stay. Please maintain your "SMILE" to the friendly neighbourhood in case they stare at you. Werid residence we have here.

 

8. COSTA SAND PASIR RIS car park... here we are... MADMAN have reserve a big space for your belove bike to park. Please kill off engine and be patience waiting for the others to move the bike to the slot neatly.

go early loh, not that early anyway bro. maybe ard 6pm at kkfc, so those helping in convoy can finalise some stuffs etc, cos it's not the usual people involved, and did not work together before.

Those in the confirmed list and not meeting for convoy at kkfc, but instead going direct to chalet, kindly indicate so, so as to make our dear lau da life easier. If he happy, he may supply some gers to entertain you, for gers, he will supply some hunks for you.

Vince, day b4 the event, just check for updates on the list (who not at kkfc meetup etc) and use that to collect our protection money for that day.

 

If this protection money is profitable, maybe we shd keep collecting and sucking their blood every week so we can afford to maintain our bikes for free.
