Yea..it kind of wasted time to buy from post office ..

 

U can just buy 2 or more just for spare incase u need to use it..no need to go

post office and buy..

 

For what i know they don't come a stack of 10 like parking coupon

You can buy 1 piece if you want. It is sold seperately or a booklet of ten. Yah lah very troublesome, drive OPC have to go thru all these... feeder bus ride plus waiting time to and fro about 50minutes. Bad habit also lah, use dun top up....

why? cos the used coupons no need to keep one, after use, can throw away...

The passenger might be on full alert, standing by to tear the coupon when sighted a police car nearby. Btw is it only LTA will catch or any police will catch this type of offence? Wonder if there will be unmarked LTA cars going around to catch ppl. Anyway for me i wont help the officials in reporting the couple on this type of offence. They are better things to do then helping them to generate more income. With the money we are paying for that paper, they can hire an officer a whole year to just catch this.

I drive OPC car too and I abide by the rules not to use mine during peak periods.

It is just not fair to normal plate car drivers who have to pay taxes through their noses.

 

I will not hesitate to report these people when I sees them on the road.

last thurs, first thing when i hit on TPE, i saw MR TP was waiting at the side for his prey.. the moment he saw my car... he turn on his red light n came after me...

 

then when he stop me to check my coupon.. he say its a routine check.. he even held the coupon against the sun to see whether i tamper with the coupon..

 

so guys .. better think twice if you choose not to use the coupon or wish to tamper with the coupon..

did the TP tell u that u must write ur car number plate no. on the coupon??? the TP ask me why u never write your number plate... then i say last time my agent pass me the car did not write.. i dunno must write 1... so he remind next time must write de..

1st time offender is 5k, repeated offender is more than that... so stick to the rules... unless u alot $$ to burn in your pocket.

I think forget about reporting those who never put day license or parking coupons. I think we are all humans that have very flexible thinking. So being flexible tends to bend the rules and break it in many occasion. To risk $120 and not displaying P plate just to pose off as a more seasoned driver/rider, I've seen many, some made it thru that 1 year, a few didn't. But those who paid the $120 doesn't dare to risk the 2nd time as its looking at a revoked license. I think all of us are a risk taker in different ways. Some to the extend of, as mentioned, $5000 fine over just $20 savings which we deem the chance of being caught is so bloody high. We usually call them dumb. Some risk $30 for $1 in parking, but when made it, seems to add a little joy to our daily lives. Perhaps we call these smart. Bike wise, I think its risking $8 for 65cents, I think both ways many are able to afford, I would call these natural.

 

We came across dumb ppl everyday, and really feel reporting them makes us feel whole tad better, but how much better it can feel when u realise reporting them and then they still don't get their retributions? We see people waiting in a car in a parking lot when many are queuing up for a lot, where I think these ppl can afford to wait outside a parking lot. We see 3L cars turning out of small roads right in front of us with 5% of that displacement and slow us down when they could have gas more and make it much better. Travelling on right most lane we tot is always faster but end up one idiot blocking the whole singapore and when finally u overtake him, u realise he's talking on the handphone. So much more examples, but dumbs are always there. I think if really wanna make things better, just educate the ppl around us with the right values and attitude.

Some people very bo liao wan loh...They are simply asking for TP to fine them.... I have seen OPC driving on the road 640pm w/out the coupon.....mayb they tink they can get by the 20 mins w/out getting caught by TP or LTA......

If you don't want others to do something to you den don't do it to others in the 1st place. Cos you can't be law-abiding all the time in your life. It may be the only time that you make a small mistake and you get caught because someone reported you.

To me, if it doesn't hurt anyone i would not interefere because what goes around comes around.
