Hi Guys,

 

Today I install "Power Booster" to my Honda Wave. This is what I feel after it was install.

 

1. Can feel lesser vibrantions.

2. Pick up Slightly Faster.

3. Engine noise lesser.

4. Feels engine idle at slower speed.

 

From my personal view "Good Investment". Cost me $33 including installation. Overall top speed did not increase, but the timing to get to top speed is shorten.

 

Power Booster is a device to provide more current towards the spark plugs. Something to make a "bigger" or "Hotter" spark so fuel is burn much effeicent. Hence improve performance.

 

I wonder is there more methods to squeeze a little more House-Power out of engine?

hmmz wad u pay is wad u get maybe~

 

got those real ones at $160 odd coudl really improve the response and plug firing rate, thus giving u better acceleration without the expense of higher fuel consumption.

went with afandi to install this "hooha" product, $32 each (from $35, tried to lower somemore, but to no avail)

 

can only say............. better response to throttle..........

as for top speed, din have chance to try yet, (but dun think will have any effect)

 

the thing is just a small rectangular box (about half the size of a kingston thumbdrive) with a few wires attached ( if not wrong is 3 la)

what he did was to attached the wires to ground, and to dunno which 2 wires la

I also find that the pick up is quite powerful, i'll tell more abt this after pillioning my fren this wkend. When riding alone, pick up IS powerful, on first gear now always accelerate till 25-30, but cannot drag long long later spoil the engine. To add to cs, the throttle feel like "got fill" (opposite of hollow)- what I mean is that the throttle don't feel like loose. Thus better response.

 

for surfer 18 and all :

 

vibrations to me the same only, only accelerating at lower gear, yes, a bit less, but when reach gear 4, normal, got the same vibrations...

 

but u "feel," so it is subjective.

 

point 2, i agree to full extent.

 

engine noise i agree, the volume down one level, this I agree when I first start the engine after installing it as told by the mech to try start my engine, ---silent mode--- i like! to be more precise the noise is much more bass, more mature, lower note/pitch.

Pick up: 1,2,3 gears will give u a better push from the engine.. and feel lighter mass of yur bike

 

For long distance: easily hit 85 to 90km/h...

 

there r 3 wires: ground and I think 1 or 2 wires goes to spark plug coil

i agree with monk( u really asp(police)?), down the highway get to 90 chicken feet, never feel sorry for my engine anymore.

 

another thing to add, i dunno abt u cs but i found out that the lower gears can go up to a higher speed, well before your engine complains(make noise noise) gear one= 40km/h gear two 60km/h, gear three reached 85km/h. i was quite amazed, i only tried this once, i scared engine spoil...

yesterday i remember i drag gear 1 a bit long, then when i step gear 2, it jumped back to gear one, dunno wat happened

Pick up so fast? Is it? This thing called FP-60 also can make your acceleration pickup fast! Currently it's still on trial. I am presently using it.

what i mean is that the throttle is tight like u turn throttle a bit, the response a lot. Thus, u throttle a bit or stay constant, the speedometer just go up very fast, by the time, need to change to next gear, so, the pick up is fast.

 

if normally, u twist the throttle from a stopping position.. ok, got power but u can twist some more for more power, (what u feel= aiyoh stress the engine ah, scared spoil.) then u off throttle and open slowly and pick up slowly........

but with pB, when u twist the throttle, it gives u the highest power so that u don't need to throttle further, its enough to throttle quite fast. but if you still throttle MORE, woo-hoo. flying- the response even more and accelerate even more. one word to explain it is it is TIGHT. the throttle-engine response is tight. understooded?

i can bet with you that u WILL feel this immediately after installing it. confirm!

 

ok, the upDAte so far for pB:

 

after the first fueling after installing pB, what i feel that the efficiency of pick up is lower... i truly feel this, but by a bit. i'm beginning to think its fading. true!, if true i will say so u guys don't get cheated, (assuming i already got c.). How come I feel its fading? This is because the throttle is not as tight as the first time i got on it with pB, i repeat its only a bit loose, i'll see if it deteriorate further. I will update it again and again and give my conclusion if u guys should really go for this thing.

But its only from my perspective, cs, u can also update on how u feel on post-pB installation. Maybe only I feel the fading power... I can only be sure of it, with more time.

 

cs: sat uh?... hmm.. maybe not. just enjoy urself with the rest of them(enjoy guys)

 

rxzDelux: whats this FP-60? where issit fixed? i on pB trial, we can exchange info. which one better.

 

idn: relax, patient lah, give me a bit more time to test it fully, don't waste 30 bucks just like that...

Go to the thread which i provide and u will know what is FP60. It's an additive to petrol.
