Dunlops are with Yammie Tech3 this yr, last yr was Pramac D'Antin. Next year Yammie Tech 3 will be having a WSBK champion James Toseland to ride the bike, and Dunlops will be out of Yammie. So far the rest of the teams are working preety well with Michs or Bridge, so unlikely anyone will be opting for Dunlops unless Dunlops brings a ton of $$$ for the team.

But I sure hope Dunlops stays though.....but problem is, who will want to race Dunlops unless team funds is an issue?

i thought dunlop has been with tech 3 for the past 2 seasons, making this yr their 3rd?

Can't wait for the race....you guys are lucky to watch it earlier than me....telecast here is sloooooooooooow.

1 Bridgestone and 2 Michs on Row 1, but the consistent runners are Stone and Hop on race tyres. But that's without the crash and fairings rubbing of course, lol. Hope it's a tight race, not those 1/2 time run away ones.

Next yr a revise on tyre rules, adding 1 more Front and 2 more Rear. That's 15Front, 19 Rear.

i am aware that adding 1 front and 2 rear this year is for new circuits only, like misano this year....

i didnt know they changing tyre rules for the whole season next yr

Hi bro...Don't mind explain to me why is there tyre rules? And what are the tyre rules fer?To restrict the team from using some tyres?I'm curious to know...Sorry fer keep asking...

tyre rules - to minimise tyre cost and the use of rubbers

why? - so that both high budget and low budget teams get to use the same fair amount of rubber

for teams on dunlop, they get to use unlimited no. of tyres. since they are still in R&D phase. i belief if pirelli or metzeler or avon or conti was to enter gp, they will get the same treatment as well.

remember something, dunlops dominate the 125 and 250 class

The 125s have the most exciting racing.

Best part of the motogp race? Hopper's near-vertical standup wheelie over the finish line.

OMFG...I'm really getting all messed up. Yup, the extra tyres are for Misano only, including the extra practising times.

Dunlops, I just did a check....This is their 3rd yr, 1st yr was 05 on Duc D'antin, 06 and 07 on Yammie Tech 3.

Sorry, my bad....my eyes getting smaller, so I read wrongly, lol.

But how I wish the extra tyres are for next yr also.....So next race we will see if Yammie got a solution to "help" The Doctor or not.

Oh, nice podium finish with 3 well speaking English racers...at least I understood what they said, lol.

Hopkins was great but again Stoner really took the show..seems like the bridgestones n Ducati combo really made his job slightly easier

Would the legend be put to an end this season juz like dat for the next few races?? or would we expect another classic fight till the very end show like last season?? :giddy:

For so many races Stoner had been qualifying well..had a gd start, took the lead of the pack, pull away from the 2nd position, see pit board saying 2nd position is 5sec behind, ride steady, complete the race, dismount bike, take out helmet, kiss the wife, walk up to podium, finish work.

Think Stoner + Ducati + Bridgestones are the winning combination at the moment... Capirossi with the same bike and tyres don't seem to have the same kind of success...

This happened during Sun warmup. Marco Simoncelli ran into gravel and crash his bike, and unfortunately, the bike was left in the middle of the track. Poor Taro Sekiguchi leading the slower group rode into the dust to only find the fallen bike in horror, and held on the bike with deathgrip on the brakes.

Deathgrip happens to experts too....many might said steering clear is a bettter option like the earlier group, but it's easier said then done.

Taro was helievac to the local hospital and is in stable conditions.

Get well soon!
