jtxz: Yes. So next time when you are the new owner of a bike, still have experience of riding, but, no NCD.

IMO, this best way, is to call up all the insurance companies for a quote.

Because different ppl criteria fit different plan.

& the best part, sometimes when you decided to choose which company to go, when reach the counter, the pricing would be another story again. ;)

Hokay admin time.

I believe this issue can be found in another thread. Moreover queries more or less have been answered.

Hokay, thread tutup.

just wondering, i had a accident last dec, which was claimed against ntuc and ntuc paid the full cost inclusive of my injuries and days i missed work. will it reduce my total ncd and affect my next yr's insurance renewal?

cheers,

Possibly your ncd is all taken away, premium will increase.

Got a problem, I am selling my bike 31st July, but Road Tax expires 29 July.

So need to renew, otherwise can be fined heavily.

Road tax need to renew no choice I pay.

But, I saw the letter stating that I need an insurance up till Jan 2010, but I don't want to specially buy 6 months insurance just so that the road tax can be renewed, since I will be selling my bike off 2 days after that.

My current insurance is until Nov which is more than 3 months from the dat emy bike will be handed over.

What can be done to avoid paying the ridiculous sum for the insurance?

ntuc allows the extension of insurance to coincide with expiry of road tax..so get a 2 month extension then..

when bike is sold..refunds almost immediately..not like some agencies who would ask for adm charges and hold on to ur money as long as 3 months..

Allianz has reinstated my 20% NCD for the accident that is not my fault.

23 years of age, 3 years of riding experience, after 20% ncd, FW2255B

Allianz - $241.82

NTUC - $268.05

AIG - $326.91

AXA - $334.00

Mitsui - $8,888.88

who says ntuc is the cheapest?!

Allianz and AXA needs rider to be age of 21. For current policy holders under 20, the insurance will still continue.

Is this some new policy of theirs? Guess I got it before they changed the rules.

Really? I got insurance from AXA at 20.
