Weekly Friday Night Ride

 

DATE: 18th September 2009 Friday

MEETING VENUE: Jurong Bird Park

MEETING TIME: 2200Hrs (10:00pm)

MOVE OFF: 2230Hrs (10.30pm).

 

 

Itinerary:

SGP 2nd link - TBC - GP Shell - Home/TBC

 

 

  • Toll Charges:
    SGD 0.70¢ per In/Out via Cashcard;
    RM 1.60 per In/Out via Touch'n'Go

 

Checklist:

  • Valid Passport with more than 6 months to expiry.

 

  • Ringgits for own use(i.e. Toll, food & petrol);

 

  • Sufficient credits in Cashcard; Touch n Go card;

 

  • Filled up White card;

 

  • Please come in at least T-SHIRT, JEANS/PANTS & COVERED SHOES; Jackets & Gloves optional but encouraged;

 

  • R@!n gear.

the traffic shouldn't be heavy... but that doesn't mean that there won't be idiotic drivers hogging first lane!

Haha vic using hokkien?! But its true guys, I take approximately 25 minutes to reach there if going from bishan and you guys definitely don't go as fast...

lol... i normally go slow de... im one of the slowest rider ma.. remember ;-)

 

my speed normally 80-90km/hr only..

 

da da Korkor and ke ke.. No worries we will be slow and steady...

 

ah cai.. take down my number.. anything call me k... i be there approx 2145hrs to 2155hrs... bring rain suit..

Err you completely missed our point. Its because you're slow that's why you should meet earlier so you can be on time. Push off at 1030 doesn't mean you should reach at 1029. The meetup time is at 10 for a reason. If you're not there I will go off without you.

tonight's a cold night...too bad i don have any proper riding jacket currently, been wearing my army gortex jacket to keep warm, do u think i wiill be stopped by the msian polis or their military if i wear my army gortex jacket into msia? :rolleyes:

Haha it won't be a problem. Wear gloves if you have them, it'll help with the cold too.

thank you all of you for your great help you guys rendered for this trip, w/o you guys Lynn and i will be totally at a loss! the happenings was totally unexpected so i like to say sorry on behalf of lynn for the great inconveniences caused... guess some of you guys had a great workout pushing the SP...:clapping::cheeky: LOL. you guys were great, really appreciated all that.

 

so yeah, after escorting lynn and her sp to chong's place, pillioned her home and reach home safe and sound.

 

once again, thanks to you all. i owe you all a meal. serious.

see you all soon in the next F.N.O or out there on the roads.

Lynn said she really enjoyed the company and the help from you guys.

1. CNA reporting a orange SP (Fs XXXX) which break down just after Jb customs and The knights to the rescue. Time check 11.30pm In the customs. The knights had sweat it out and did a workout and Deserved a good night sweet sleep after 3am.. :cheers:

 

 

2. reporting a phantom ( fv plate) which battries dies on the rider just after Jb toll.. vidak + ahcai Knight render assistant by helping owner to push start the bike and manage to get his battries charged.. twice* :thumb:

 

 

had our guest Escoted to Planet and everyone is back home save and sound... Sleeping Zzzzz.. :cheeky:

actually, vidak's ride got abit of difficulty starting while we were abt to leave planet. he pressed the e-start button quite a number of times. lynn was already on my bike, wanted to help vidak push his bike then his bike fortunately roared to life! then off we go home! :thumb:

still not as glaring as HID or projector lens leh...

actually projector lens shouldnt be glaring at all.. in fact, less glaring then our conventional light with reflectors.. even if you combine HID and projector lens.. it shouldnt be glaring to any rider/driver on the road if properly set up.. :angel:

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
