my bike keep dying on the road.wtf is wrong ? full system with a pc3 , been going well for about 3weeks then this problem happen. went to racewerk the place where i fix my full system n pc3 , they tune tune tune the injector wadeva **** ,only works for a while.......den same problem happen. any 1 encounter it b4 ? i never ride until so damm mother fking piss before !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where sud i go to recify the problem now ? HL - back to racewerk to demand wtf is going wrong - i-motoring - UNITY TO REMAP RETUNE THE PC3 ????? pls advise............

I am sorry to hear that u regretted on patronising Race Werks.

 

However I do hope that u would be able to acertain the situation clearly, instead of just plain summarised statements.

 

I remember u coming that day to ask me about the stalling problem that occurs on and off. I did a brief check on the bike. I assumed it to be either the throttle bodies or TPS, and checked that the PC3 is okay, not the TPS. However u told me that u had chg the TPS before. And that the problem started 3-4 wks after tuning at our side.

 

I suggested to you that leaving your bike to cool (then 2pm) and we will proceed to check and do ur bodies/tps and test ride / dyno later since it is a warm problem, for you to pick up at 9pm later. The cooling time concided with our schedule that day too, for we prepping out the 7 triumphs that were there for their ride up north, to be picked up at 5pm.

 

U advised me that you have to rush off and will return later to leave the bike down, in which u didn't and had to make unfound accusations here and had to regret , not having check it for u F.O.C and spending $250 for tuning elsewhere when that is not the problem.

 

I hope u can give me a chance next round to make that we cocked up instead of splurging unnecessary cash.

 

As for the HL guys, they r just unfortunate to have ppl like Race Werks, put in the 'wonder' gadgets plus the jokers whom charge 200+ without solving the root of the problems.

 

They are inclined towards stock Yammies, and as much as the techs there love to fiddle and can fiddle with aftermarket products. It is just not their call, to recommend full sys or ems products on an otherwise stock machine. I still waiting for them to set up a YEC SG to learn a trick or 2 from them:thumb:

I asked the salesman and he said the one they are selling is a uk model. I later found out that the one I've seen one the road is a us model. But what is the difference between the two besides the colour? Which distributor has the us model?

I have no idea. Another alternative is to purchase just a race tail with no pillion seats. Should set you back around the same price as the original one seater from Hong Leong.
