I heard nitrogen gas is good to have for track use..nitrogen doesn't expand as much as normal air..meaning track users will have a more predictable tires pressure from cold to hot..

Especially good if tires manufacturer only gives hot optimum pressure..with nitrogen, users need to deflate slightly below recommended hot pressure during cold..and viola!! The tires pressure increase a bit to the recommended hot pressure after 5 or so laps..

Heard ppl say lah..maybe wrong..maybe true.. :cheeky:

btw guys i need to ask about the clutch..

mine bike is still stock yet to adjust anything about clutch, seem if i realise abit more on clutch the bike die.. i know this is normal, but is this the stock setting? juz feel like its abit sensitive..

did ask the mech before if i make it less sensitive, he told me duno the clutch or clutch plate will eat faster, so thus i wish to know is this the norm setting ? if yes i will juz leave it as it is..

cos i juz need to throttle slightly more n this problem wont really persist.. but sometime will get die engine due to release too much clutch..

nah, no point using it. Since the air you breathe is already more than 70 percent nitrogen. The rate that gases expand are pretty much the same, its just the moisture in air that causes air to expand a tiny bit faster than pure nitrogen. And whether you use air or nitrogen in your tyres, there is probably no difference when riding on the road or the track.

Nitrogen is used in the tyres of planes to prevent the magnesium rims from catching fire thats about it

hmm cos my mech told me if i put it nearer aka more tight so i dun have to release much more clutch.. but the down side its it eat more on clutch plate..

so for now i am pondering what should i do or stick with stock.. unless this is the norm case for r6..

thr is a manufacturer recommended clutch freeplay in ur owner's manual..

too much freeplay n ur clutch might not be able to disengage fully when the lever is pulled.. which might cause damage to the gear box when u shift gears..

too little freeplay and ur clutch might not be able to engage fully even when the lever is released.. resulting in clutch slip which wil kill ur clutch..

I tot u said when u let go clutch the bike die rite...resulting in u turning more throttle to avoid stalling..correct?

U shd not adjust the clutch nearer to solve that prob..u shd adjust it further.

And yes..clutch set too near maybe will cos the clutch to wear faster..my suggestion is to adjust further..last time when I juz bought my bike..also the same thing..always stalled..not used to the near clutch(stock setting)

nitrogen is used to maintain constant tyre pressure. regardless of abuse.

ic.. from ur last statment.. what i am facing should be normal then.. actually not much of an issue except unless i throttle too low before moving off then it might stall..

Hi to all my fellow R6 bros here, just got a news from my frend travelling i tink along PIE ther was a accident involving a R609 and a 10 wheeler. little tags were on the road for parts and peices and a full face+ wind screen on e roas as well. As my frend rode past he saw a pool of blood underneath the wheel of the 10 wheeler. So all ride safe my fellow brothers and hope the rider involve in the accident is safe.

Peace
